Jeak is on a distinguished road

after reading one of the blogs about idiots scamming people.

http://heim.ifi.uio.no/~gisle/blog/?p=18

i realized that i was one of the idiots that was scammed.
but the reason for my post is that Aigars, one of the bogus shops, has moved on and is now called Orvis Inc.
http://www.orvisinc.co.uk/

just wondering if there is anything that can be done?

people like this should be fed to dogs.

Welcome to the site, Jeak.

Glad to see a mention and link to ResellerRatings on that site. I found more interesting info at this fake banks database.

orvisinc.co.uk is down - perhaps they've moved on already..

As for what can be done:
- call your credit card or billing company without delay to reverse charges;
- submit a customer review for archival purposes, and if they reopen we can append their new name to the title);
- check our Where to file consumer complaints (Consumer Resources: Where to file consumer complaints) sticky thread.
