UPS tracking

I found out recently that when you click on the tracking # on UPS you get a lot of "arrivals and departures" and even a time is posted! well.....guess what ? none of these is true;actually there are vey few physical scans and at the end only the driver's scan is the one that matters.I recently order a package from a store in New York and the tracking showed arrivals and departures in New York,South Caroline,Gorgia and Orlando...but since somewhere "it got lost"(stolen?) it turned out that the package never left Sout Caroline but the tracking sequence shows time of arrival and departure on subsequent places.What a joke! anybody has had similar experience?

I got batteries in a box one time because someone at ups stole my order and replaced it with batteries to make up for the weight. Other than that yes i have tracked a package to my town then when it didnt arrive i called and was told it was mis routed and was somewhere in new jersey. My question was well it was here yesterday but it wasnt. UPS is a sub standard shipping company anyway. They stay in business because e-merchants use them for cheaper cost like newegg and so on.

I had ordered a piece of electronics from G-Tech in California a long way from where I am at in Hamilton,Ontario,Canada, coming by way of.........you guessed it..UPS. When they show up with it,it's the wrong model and they want an $82.00 brokerage charge, I have a neighbor there to accept the pkg, she turns the pakage away and tells them to send it back to G-Tech........ok so I contact G-Tech and explain. Someone calls from Windsor,Ontario(UPS) and asks if I really do want the package to be returned to the seller and I say yes, so maybe 3 weeks go by and I call G-Tech and they say no package, then I check UPS tracking and it says a person signed for the pkg, I come to find out that a person from UPS signed for the pkg because they say it had been refused by me and abandon by the seller and that after a period of time? they destroy the pkg! do you believe this!, someone tells me they will find out where the pkg is and will send it back to me if it still exists. 2 weeks go by, I call again and its like I am starting all over again, she tells me she will investigate, blah,blah,blah and that the seller actually did not abandon the pkg but UPS did! because they could not reach the seller, bull sh#*, this was today! I am currently waiting for a call back that will probably never come, oh by the way get this, when I called them they were asking me about paying the $82.00 brokerage charge Ha!, anyway I guess I am done venting, thanks for reading.
