NEWEGGS NEW SEARCH ENGINE

I would like peoples thoughts on neweggs new search engine. I know i cant find anything i am looking for unless i know exactly what brand name it is. I was looking for a vga cooler my search came up with 2 options...lol So i used live chat and she only came up with the same options i did. So after 10 minutes and i mean 10 minutes we found a zalmann vga cooler but now under specs they dont list what it fits so i had to go somewhere else again. I have always used newegg but until they smarten back up and add more details to the specs so i know what it fits like what video cards and so on and use a search engine i can get alot better results on i am shopping else where. Oh and when u click on manufactures link for zalman it takes you to korea and ask to install a lanuage pack which i dont do sooooo.... What are your thoughts on it?

What are your thoughts on it? -> Think you should provide newegg with your feedback

Precise. Newegg will change if negative feedback is given.

But, i also agree that its not as fast as before. But that may just be b/c its new to me.

honestly I haven't had any issues. I did take me a little while to get use to the sidebar with the guided search instead of it being above the search result but that was about it.

I put vga cooler in the search box and got 27 hits just adding in vga gives you several drop down options with even more hits all listed right here in the drop down. I personally kind of like it

I did give feedback. I know things change but couldnt they keep both engines going giving people time to adjust. In the last week i spent appx 700. now on parts and know what, Not 1 was ordered from newegg because the hard time i had trying to find them. Oh well their loss and performance pcs gain i guess.

I think i know what it is. It used to be in a search you had it all at the top right in plain sight. Now you have to scroll down on the left side to see the different options. It does seem very inconvient, i overlooked it alot till i figured it out. It sure isnt user friendly. I wonder what made them change maybe this new search engine is cheaper or something however these things work. I dont think they ever read these forums and if they do i doubt if they really care what a few people think. That at least is the appearance they give unless you go read the store ratings it seems for those that leave a bad rating get contacted fast and get givin whatever it takes so they change the rating. Oh well alot of online vendors do that to keep business. I did read on their site they keep a customer for life seems like they really dont.
