I figured it was either used/refurbished or an outright scam. I looked around the site for a minutes then came to RR to look them up & see what kind of rating they had..none found. I then went to the BBB site to look them up..nothing found. So I shot off an email to their customer support address:

Hello,

I came across your website in a random search, and found you have no
ratings on Resellerratings.com. Also, no reliabilty report for your
company can be found on the Better Business Bureau website. I do not
make purchases from websites that I can not authenticate their origins.

"Mailing Address: USA: 203 N Washington St, Los Angeles CA 90428" This
address does not register as a buisiness when performing a search on the
Better Business Bureau website. My question is this, what if any is your
parent company/alternate name/buisness address so that I can see for
myself your companies track record? "Sixteen years of superior customer
service" I'd like to be able to verify that myself..

THEN and only then did I start to poke around the RR forums and found this thread and the sites to avoid thread. I will definitely be using this site more often, thanks for the good work you are doing.

Just wondering if anyone saw the updated www.bigwinterdeal.com site, with the NEW UPS logo for shipping! Boy, they have some brass balls! This is really pissing me off that they can get away with what they're doing. Is there not an agency that watches for sites such as these crooks? Not sure who to contact at UPS, but I'm going to let them know either way.

Yes, it is necessary to bring this up so people can understand that there are many, many scams out there because of the basic human condition....which is evil.

Once you understand that, you can better be able to balance your attitude towards other human beings between "believing the best about people", and..."you're trying to rip me off, aren't you?"

I always like to use the "Recourse Test", which means if I can do a deal and have recourse in such a way I know I can get my money back...then I'll do the deal.

If not, I won't.
This has saved me no telling how much cash over the years.

I believe my attitude towards other human beings has been balanced already, without the 'help' from your retarded posts. I also believe that the others on here have learned their lessons as well, and by now are looking for info on how to catch these thieves or just plain put the out of business.... not more posts on how I or anyone else got fooled......again and again. We already know that.

You'll learn alot of things...either good, or bad....from watching how others conduct their business. But, I'm sure you have it all figured out, right

I had it figured out as soon as I read the PREVIOUS posts, and quite honestly didn't figure on needing ANOTHER post telling me what I did wrong, what I didn't watch out for, etc. I don't consider what you posted 'wisdom', but then, at least YOU consider yourself wise.......that's what is important!
