I'm not sure, but this might be another place to check out. Different template, but from Spain. Minimum order of $750, cheap prices also. www.mercadostore.com
Can't find any reviews or info on them anywhere.
Just FYI!

BTW, the above store was found using Froogle, searching for a digital camera. I did a mock order, and found the only payment method was using a 'swift bank to bank transfer'. I would believe that would be a cash only deal also? The other option was for returning customers, which I wouldn't know what the options are for that.

Another person saved

I almost made the mistake of mass ordering PSP3s from bigwinterdeal. The western union payment setup and other things this didn't feel right . Thanks for the forum, you confirmed my thoughts before I lost my hard earn money .

Anything, or any page of a seller that I see that ONLY accepts Wire Transfer as payment I AVOID. I do not care if they turn out to be legit or not.

That is why my last reply I went ahead and listed some of my major triggers. My way of passing the knowledge.

My comments about the CC info was that to do it would not be in their favor. It creates an instant trail for the user of said info to be traced. And add the fact that they are becoming more wise about these scams, you are far less likely to suffer anything for a length of time.

urban environment makes me laugh... i have to say that i, in my 20s have become the techno geek, but in a kool way. i have pushed the parents into the future with technology, as well as the rest of the family and friends. i recently bought a car over ebay to name a few of my online transactions, but i was convinced the site was legit. i was recently searching for digital cameras, and saw one of them on many price search engines, which led me to discounts web store. I thought the price on the items were a great deal, I went to better business burea to search if the company was legit. It checked out ok, but the 500 min. was sketch in my opinion. I moved on to what else I could buy if I did buy from them for the camera. I noticed the ps3's, and that was another thing that caught my attention. I know that they are in such limited quantities(my buddy sat out in front of Target to buy one to resale on Ebay) so I know it was weird for them to have so many PS3's. I thought it would be great to buy one and sell it on ebay to also make some quick money. Then I looked into buying an ipod, and researched the 5th generation ipod on apples site. Things seemed fishy on many fronts, i recently bought a refurbished macbook, and the price of Ipods new are never lower than a refurbished one. Looking back, many things seemed weird, but I definitely would understand how anyone would think that the site look realistic and would hope to buy a good deal and make money off of it. I would say that 9 out of 10 people buying ps3's were buying only to resale.

I dont understand though why money orders cant be tracked, or transfers via western union. Its an electronic transfer, I would assume all transfers would be able to be tracked. Also, as I read somewhere else, how come there isn't one website dedicated to sites that could be phony. I have bought from numerous online stores, makes me take a double take on any purchases made to stores that I haven't purchased before. I always knew to use credit card so that way you could dispute something if no item ever came. But another person also brings up a good point on what if some sites take my credit card info or address info and use for id fraud. my id has been stolen before, and someone signed up for a phone using my ssn. it sucks that people can be so great at making sites or site look alikes, and yet they cant find a better job and make money like everyone else rather than stealing it from people who are looking for the best deals.

i didnt buy from the site because.... I was unsure what i wanted to buy, and also, I would have probably stopped once I realized I couldnt just plug in my credit card and be done with it. Lazy I am yes. I feel sorry for everyone scammed, and I wish there was a government agency that dealt with online businesses. It would make sense, since many stores are either moving business online, and the fact that the internet stores are really doing well.

I hope everyone has a safe and merry holiday, god bless!

I wish there was something that I could personally do to help track down this criminal, thief, $@## face, idiotic, ignorant, selfless, lowdown, loser. Possibly terror related, although I dont want to sound like George W, with attaching anything and everything wrong with terror related.

Once again, God bless!
