On the smartdiscountelectronics.com contact page is the phone and fax number for what is actually a different company, Performance Bicycle Shop, a legitimate store in Bonita, CA.

I called (619) 422-3098 and the person answered "Performance Bicycle Shop". I asked if they were smartdiscountelectronics. The gentleman told me they'd been getting calls for weeks from people seeking electronics from smartdiscountelectronics.com who were asked to give their SSN and other information, and prior to that there were referencing "GoDiscount".

Do not shop at smartdiscountelectronics.com or you will be scammed, and possibly your identity stolen.

Right off the bat the site was just registered last month and only for one year. Also the phone number is missing a digit.

Hah, knew I'd seen that page somewhere, http://www.resellerratings.com/forum...d.php?t=126898 (ElectroDelivered BEWARE!) they already have a thread here.

They seem to have changed the Registrant, last week the were registered in Rome, IT. And as stated in the other thread that address in Quincy, IL is, per the USPS, "NON-DELIVERABLE."
