Fraudulent evaluation:

There was some technical issues submitting an email using Resellerrating.com's contact page, so I had to post it in this forum.

Reviewer gabs999 may be working for Samstores.com, and could be giving fraudulent evulation in favor of the online store.

Contact info for Samstores.com includes a peculiar email address (gabs999@yahoo.com) displayed in Amazon.com's site stat for SamStores.com (also shows Extenprise,Inc as the dba name):

Further proof that the dba name for SamStores.com is Extenprise, Inc. is shown in the Better Business Bureau website, Chicago division:

You're welcome. I'm currently trying to settle a dispute with them. I did an invesigation regarding their "reputable" services as posted on the Better Business Bureau, and searched for ratings about Samstores. Turns out that their practices are questionable at best, and they allegedly posted a fraudulent evaluation on this site. They've charged my credit card, including shipping, but never sent a tracking number.

They had the item in-stock...so they say when I confirmed by phone before placing the order. I received an email confirmation that the order was processed, but when I didn't receive the tracking number, I called a few days afterwards to reconfirm. They said that the item (tri-band world cell phone) is in Chinese and that they had to change the software. A false statement, as tri-band phones come in multiple languages with English being the most basic language option. And even if it's honestly in Chinese only, they should have notified me of that fact and posted it on their website. If they simply came out forthright that the item is in backorder, and put a hold on the charge to my credit card, instead of giving me this bogus "Chinese-only product" statement, I would have been fine with that. Needless to say, the whole situation is unsettling.

If the item isn't delivered at the date they verbally specified, I will be forced to take action including dispute of charges. I will post a review on this site depending on the outcome.

Some times the manufacturer sends us some phones in non-English language. And later we are able to convert this phone into English . But in this case we where not able to do so. Therefore we called the customers and told him the truth and our problem. We are sorry for any kind of inconvenience this may have caused to the customer. But we do not have any kind of intention to sell anyone a wrong product. All are product are brand new and factory fresh.

Our price is the best and shipping is super fast and we sell only factory sealed items. All poduct we sell are brand new .We have a live person always to answer your question on the phone.
We agree we are not 100% perfect. And we always learn from our mistake. And we make sure it is never repeated.

Frustrated with the lies

I cannot believe the hassle and run around I am getting from this company. If anyone wants more info post here and I will add more in regards to specific details.

Right now I am livid and hate the fact that I have to dispute charges and tie my money up for 30-60 days until my credit card company refunds my money. I hate to make blanket statements without backing it up but these guys have no idea what is going on and I get a different answer from everyone I speak with - not to mention they will never let you complete a sentence. They are impossible to deal with (rude, cantankerous, ignorant and non receptive to the customers needs) and they have charged me and I don't have the product and now I have to go through a dispute.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT DEAL with samstores.com

The biggest problem is what are normal guys like me and others to do? I just can't stand being blatently lied to and then losing my money and having to jump through hoops to maybe get it back.

If you place an order and cancel an hour later (days before it ships) there is a 10% fee! This and other "Rules" that should be against the law are prevalent with this company.

Lastly the sales reps I spoke with had no problem arguing and debating as if it were second nature - these guys were not even customer service. I am convinced that everyone there is used to dealing and arguing with irate customers on a regular basis. I have never been treated so poorly EVER.

Have you filed a complaint with the BBB?

You can do so at bbb.org/odrweb/public/GetStarted.aspx.

BBB report for this company shows a 'Satisfactory' record and that they have been a member of the BBB since MAY2003.

The review page here at RR shows a ~2.83 out of ten with 18 reviews since 2FEB2005.

This company is totally fraud!

I placed an order with this company for some 220 volts equipment. They claim that all their products are brand new.

First after I placed the order, they tried to "bait and switch" me to different products. I ordered a Samsung and a Toshiba TV and they tried to switch me to models that I didn't won't. I was running out of time becuase I was moving overseas so I was finally suckered into their sales pitch.

When I received my merchandise I was extremely surprised that not only were the products not what I originally ordered, but also the boxes were opened. There was scratches on 12 out of th 15 items that I purchased. Everything was clearly used. I called them to confront them, and they said we open the boxes to test the products for you.

They sell used, refurbished products!
They offer limited support and sales service. (Horrible)!!!
They sell items for international relocation however they have no clue what someone relocating is going through!

Samstores is a fraudulant company, selling fake, used, refurbished cell phones, TVs, and 220 volts appliances. BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY. There are many other companies out there that can be used. These companies are legitamite businesses for these items. I WENT TO SAMSTORES BECAUSE THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST, BUT MOST OTHER COMPANIES ARE JUST $10-20 MORE PER PRODUCT AND NOW I KNOW WHY.

i should have read this one before buying a cellphone from Samstore.
Last month (July) i purchased a Sony Ericsson P990i. According to thier website the phone was available so I went ahead and placed the order. I called to check the status of my order couplde days later and they told me that they did not have the phone and it was being ordered. I paid a 2-day shipping thru fedex, and it arrived more than a week later!
I got the phone and noticed that the box did not look brand new and it looked old. I looked at the contects and missing other accesories that supposed to come with the phone. The phone itself was already in Spanish language and had some phone numbers in it. It had scratches on the side, the touch screen did not work after 2 days. It took me three hours to reset the phone.
I called Samstores and the person (with an Indian accent) was very, very defensive when I started to tell him the problem. He did not even let me finish what I had to say. He raised his voice, and I just had to stop the conversation.
I sent the phone to Sony Ercisson for repair and Sony found evidence of liquid damage and corrosion from moisture. I still have Sony's report.
These guys are hard to do business with especially the "customer service" people. I felt I just lost $350!
by the way, Samstore sent me a RMA and took them few days to issue me one. I used my common sense and instead sent it to Sony to get a fair report..at least.
i am contacting the BBB.
