But the open box units I got were so-so , they do clearly warn you
You get what you pay for .. its fair
Will buy only new from them..

A 'LOST' Shipment never arrives.

A 'LATE' Shipment arrives a day or two late. Now unless this is past an advertised time frame, not that big a deal. If it is, then calls need to be made.

That is a pretty big difference in my book. If a person is not paying attention and then all the sudden the parts are 3-4 days late and no one knows where it are... guess what IT IS LOST. If it were 'merely late' it would be there by then.

THAT is the logic I am talking about maybe you need to learn some more...

Man your a piece of work... try getting a clue maybe.

great newegg experience with rma

I recently had a Canon camera arrive doa, newegg cheerfully sent a new one and refunded me the shipping cost, what more could I ask for. KLD

NEW EGG IS GREAT

Neweggs rma policy is just the same as everyone else on the web. In fact better than most. One place I delt with was refurbdepot.com and they not only had outrgious shipping charges both ways but you had to FAX YES FAX them your request for an RMA!!!

hmmm so when they send a replacement, it is not considered receiving the item late because the first one was lost?

The person that started this "shipping tragedy" got the monitor, it was never "lost" according to your definition. Then he thought it was wrong that he had paid for 2 monitors that was in his possession. I am still at a lost why someone would be upset about it when all they had to do was send one back and get their money back.

What I like most about Newegg is learning from other customers! Their little egg reviews are most Awesome in helping me decide if I want that special deal or if I'd rather pay an extra few bucks and get what everyone else says is a rock solid piece of equipment!

And their detailed information on their items - You can't beat that! I spent 4 hours trying to find out if my brother's computer he just purchased from Dell had an 8X AGP slot or not for video upgrade. I'm sure any Dell customer knows that with Dell, you usually don't have more than what you order. My mom's Dell didn't even have PS2 plug-ins! She HAD to use a USB Keyboard! And no printer thing. *Not sure what those are called. Parahphell or something?* Basically put, Newegg has taken the extra time to provide their customers with the Information! What's more, they are still able to offer low prices!

Wonder if TD will start little Tiger Paws for customer ratings! They need to do away with rebates! That's probably what is chasing away alot of their customers! Give us the low deal without the flaming hoops!

I kinda had a kinda lame experience with Newegg.com just now. Though theres no way it would stop me from shopping there, it just really sucks that I now have to wait another 3-5 days for my refund, even though this is the 6th day since they had it! I had to go on newegg's live chat for them to finally realize that they have it and that I need a refund.

Though this really sucks having to wait longer for my money, but this kinda stuff does happen, it doesnt make it right, but you cant avoid problems like this happening. And I've read many other experiences, thats not even as bad as my recent one, and people go crazy saying that they will never shop there again.

I still shop at newegg even though i dont like to half the time. If im not in a hurry or nothing goes wrong im ok with it, What gets me is when you pay for 3 day garanteed ups service then they change it to ups ground saying that they do it because ups garantees them it will still arrive on time. Well no matter what ppl think there is alot of difference between ground and 3 day. If it is ground ups can and will delay the shipment for others that are garanteed. Doesnt matter a whole lot unless you are expecting it on a friday which makes it a monday before you do get it or if you order around the holidays. Now thats what really hurts because then you get it after the holidays instead of before. What really ranks is that ups ground isnt even an option on their checkout page. They say they do it to save you money well when i pic 3 day and then go to next page it stills says same shipping amout then when i look at tracking it says ground so it isnt save the customer any money at all its saving newegg money. And sometimes cost the customer time like mine did over christmas. Oh yes i got the free shipping on next order or 10. off but the fact of the matter is shipping should stay at what you pay for and not be changed at all. And if it is garanteed by a certain date it should get there by that date. They dropped the ball on mine will i never shop there again, probably will but this time its going to take awhile i need 3 items to finish this build and i think zipzoomfly is looking alot better since i got my motherboard on time. Most it isnt the cost it is being able to count on something coming on time. In my case i had to go over a 3 day weekend with no computer cause i gave my daughter my old processor and motherboard and the new ones went into mine. And no i wasnt going to tear it all back apart so i could do it when all i needed left on mine was the pc6400 ram which i cant buy locally even at staples or radio shack.

There was no reason not to wait like the rep asked... nothing wrong with that.

It is not like they can keep your money if you used a credit card. You will get your credit but they will probably wait until their monitor is back to issue it... for all they know you could try to keep it without sending it back and then charge back on them. Did you ever think of that?

Let us know if they refuse to issue your credit after they receive the monitor back.

Today is 12/26, Newegg processed my RMA at their warehouse on 12/14!!! Guess what??? NO REFUND POSTED TO MY CC!!!!
