I purchased a Pioneer Premier DEH-980BT from them on 7/16 for $390. I received the stereo on 7/26. When I opened the package I immediately noticed there were
two scratches on the faceplate.
I emailed them the following:

I need an RMA # so I can return this unit for a new unit that is not damaged.

You will get an RA# in the next 48 hours. Please make sure to send back the original box and all paper work the Serial numbers are recorded and the units are bench tested to make sure the face plate works with unit sent back and that matches the one sent to you. If we find this is not the case there is a $30.00 Bench test fee as well as you being responsible for return shipping.

My comments:
The original email sounds like I will only pay return shipping if they determine the faceplate does not match the unit. The latest email wants me to include a check for 17.99 to ship the unit back to me, yet the email says store credit..not replacement unit.....
The latest email states policy that they don't pay any shipping/handling for warranty (defective) units or that I should ship it back to Pioneer....such wonderful Customer Service....
Here is the latest email:
Our company policy that you agreed to on check out state that we do not cover any s/h to warranty the unit you can warranty the unit from Pioneer as well if you wish.

I haven't read any good or bad news on Tundraelectronics. It's not looking good for this transaction.
