I guess it's worth mentioning that shopsunshine is just one out of a million crooklyn dealers who are well know for their deceitful business practices. Nothing new or revolutionary here.

My advice: Always google a business before you buy from them, unless you know for sure they're legit.



The infamous "Call to confirm your order! " is basically the gold standard of determining if a webstore/dealer is shady.

Before I start sounding like a troll, I want to leave one more comment:

Look at all the "one review wonders" listed on shopsunshine's resellerratting page.

Like there is that many people who go online and create a reviewer account, just so they can schmooz about a single electronics dealer and then never return again. I looked at one that had two reviews and interestingly enough, the other review was for a business that sells extended warranties which is kind of interesting.

Just use your own judgement.

I'm glad to see one of my reviews of them stuck and is a top hit in Google!

I posted the same review in like 3 different places. Shopsunshine actively went to every single one of them and tried to get the review taken down. This is the only one they couldn't get to go away.

Still waiting for my refund: 32 days and counting! I've turned the matter over to my credit card company and filed compaints with the BBB and NYC consumer protection people.

Wouldn't have realized who I was dealing with if I hadn't come across this post.

Avoid dealing with this company; they're either hopeless incompetent, or corrupt, or quite possibly both.

Well, I am not even sure where to start. I really wish I had searched before buying anything from them. As of right now I have an order placed with them, this is how things have gone.

I found an auction on e-bay by a company called: Pyxis Camera
I looked at their feedback and all was reasonable, but out of the 100's of auctions they had, nothing matched what I wanted so I called them and placed an order over the phone.

The rep on the phone was alright, but not as friendly as others had mentioned in the feedback. I am not going to lie, I tried to work a deal
on a better battery, but the CSR out not budge. The following is what I ordered and is posted from the confirmation e-mail I recieved from them.

So through this e-mail only one thing out of place, but not bad.. A second company name... Cyber Discount Warehouse.

Strange asking for the bank phone number, but whatever. I replyed and let them know my billing and shipping addresses were different and gave them the info they wanted. I did this the same day.

That was the last I heard from them . That e-mail was recieved on the next day.

As of right now, everything seems to be working out fine. Though OI have yet to revieve a tracking number or any other reply. I will give it until this Friday, before I start a refund request, I believe that with my current location
I should give enough time for shipping. I am only posting this to give a heads up, on what will be my conclusion post later. I will continue to post to keep
everyone updated.

Well another day had passed and I had yet to get any information from them so I sent an e-mail. I simply told them that all communications up until recently had been great, and that I have nothing bad in my experience with them to think of any wrong doing. I also told them that I had researched their company on the internet and found 100's of negative remarks about their company and that in order for me to gain some of my trust back in the company I would need a e-mail now about the process of my shipping / order

The following is the letters I received yesterday;

So lets see if I got this right.. Order placed on the 9th? Shipped 10 days later? ok Well again, **** happenes, and I am still on the side of the company
as of right now. Although I must say I am starting to think that maybe
there really IS something wrong with the way they do things. But all the same, they are STILL following through. And not yet rude.
Seeing how it was shipped I will call them tonight to ask about why, and I will give them their 7-12 days (do to mu location) before thinking of my next steps. Will update again soon on any changes.

lol I guess someone was watching. My guess you are talking about the *Name*. I am not to worried about others seeing it, just do not want the company guy messin with my order because of it. I am sure he could figure it out, but not going to hand in the info.

I purchaced a website TheShutDown.com and CloseEm.com. I will be starting a case collection there this weekend. I want to get EVERYONE who has had issues with these companies to start posting there, and if ResellerRatings has no issues I will start case files from post found on their site on my mine as well. I have also sent letters to the invesment departments of most the major electonic companies in order to get a reply on the known companies as to rather they are authorized resellers of their products or not, I informed them that their replies will be posted on my sites in order to help get an understanding of what is going on. If they are not authorized resellers I will forward the letters to ebay and paypal with full details of what has been going on. As for right now I just need to get the site up, and a better understanding as to what is going on with my own shipment. I am in the military and it pisses me off that I am defending our country and yet people in our country are the ones we need to watch our own backs with.

If anyone has any information please forward it to me via contacts on this web site. Again I am not yet saying anything is wrong from MY point of view. But there is enough information on the web to atleast have them looked at.

Looking for addresses, company names, members names and any contacts known. Web sites, and points of sale would also help. This info is all over the web and I want to bring it togeather in one place. That is the only way something will ever be done.

If anyone knows how to tell when I company was started or where it is licenced would also help.
