While Reseller Ratings is still researching before they add DailyZort to the list of stores, I wanted to at least post somewhere about them so nobody else has to deal with them (at least without warning on what they could be getting themselves into).
Background: DailyZort is one of those "one product per day" retailers that imitate the woot.com model. They post a new product every evening, and (supposedly) have only limited quantities, which they will sell until they run out, or until the time the next evening when they will offer another product.
Do not buy from DailyZort! In short, they did a bait-and-switch, possibly accidentally, and did give me a refund after I
demanded it, but then did nothing to notify other customers. (This particular product "sold-out" the same night it was offered, so there must have been many other buyers). On the contrary, they deleted my postings in their forums that pointed out their bait-and-switch.
If that's not bad enough, they also changed my order (color
and quantity), charged my credit card, and then shipped, ALL WITHOUT ASKING FOR MY CONFIRMATION of the new order. In general, they have horrendous customer service: they ignored me until I made lots of noise (I had to post daily in their forums, where their potential customers could see, until finally I scared DailyZort into returning my emails!).
To see details, a play-by-play, and excerpts of my correspondence with them during my first and only order, see here:
