yea a bad experience is a bad experience and you can't just null all these bad experiences base don the fact that YOU got your order, and mind you, after the complaints started rolling in on the one site that can for the most part make or break online retailers. Then jaliber comes on and sorry to say jaliber, with his trite responses to peoples complaints and the few complimentary posts at first are blatantly shady.
goldie you should not have deleted your posts.
this is a business- point blank, no excuses, you start a online business based on a gimick, whatever you wanna call it- where is the logistics- you back it up with shady advertising and appalling customer service- the MOST important link to your business.
I dont think people should turn around and say neglect the bad and post ratings/reviews of coyoto making them seem like the little train that could... because we all dig the story of the little grocery store that made it. Dont mean to be the jerk but these are hard earned bucks being spent and when that money is taken and you get 0 in return people should rightly question everything about that business... as it seems that everyone basically having the same nightmare.
Upstart, yea ok, still NOT cool

It is here!
My Ipod came in!
mrpg I think you are being a little harsh. While I agree there is no excuse for poor customer service (new company or not) I thing coyotego has at least heard what were saying and changed their website to reflect more accurate shipping times. They got off to a rocky start but I hope they can straighten out their logistical issues and become successful.
You may feel jaliber gave "trite responses" but he did send me personal messages as well to address my concerns (if he sent them to me, I doubt I'm the only one).
Once a little more time goes by for them to get everything together, I would feel confident ordering again.

mrpg,
I think your missing the point that we have all been making. We are not ignoring the setbacks with this company. Their, indeed, have been some problems. However, in my experience--and after all, that is all I have to go on--coyotego has supreceded my expectations. I think it is unfair to caraciture them as starting an online business "based on a gimmick." This is flat out challenging the integrity of this company. I, for one, was not prepared to go there even before the company corrected the problem. Granted, the company advertised 2-3 days processing, and they failed to deliver; but I think this is much more common for a new company than you might realize. For the record, I deleted my posts bc they pertained to something else which had already been deleted. They did not make sense any longer. My apologies.
Anyway, I am not challenging your experience with coyotego, but what I am challenging is your presumption of thier lack of integrity. Try to connect with Jaliber if you have a complaint. I am sure he will help you out.

Definition of "expedite"
Unfortunately, Coyotego.com has absolutely no idea what this word means. The funny thing is that they love using this word when referring to the shipment of your order. For example, "Your order was placed on the 15th of June??? We'll EXPEDITE your order right away." "Right away" is even redundant, but they say it. So, I would imagine they would speed up the shipping process x 4. But seriously folks. I have talked to two customer care directors and three "customer service reps" (notice the quotations) in the last several days. Keep in mind my order was supposedly shipped on the 28th without a tracking number. Frankly, I knew this was b.s., and I was right. I talked to Jennifer (I'll withold her last name as I told her I would keep my word), a customer care director, on Thursday and she didn't have an answer for why my order didn't have a tracking number. However, she asked me to wait until Friday afternoon because, maybe, by the grace of God the shipment would arrive. No dice. I called again on Friday, just to see if they had a tracking number on this order. No dice, but I did talk to a girl named Jessica who would lable my order "urgent" for the umpteenth time ("urgent": yet a another word associated with immediacy that coyotego.com failed to look up in merriam-webster's). So here we are on Monday afternoon, no tracking number, no shipment. I just called CG again. I talked to two customer service kids, and to no surprise they didn't know up from down. I asked to speak to Jennifer, the aforementioned Customer Care Director, but she was unavailible. I was, however, able to talk to Alicia another Customer Care Director who gave me little news. She's going to give me a call back in 2 hours. I'm waiting.
I have given this company every benefit of the doubt. They are actually fulfilling the same orders as mine to customers that have ordered after me. This company really has no excuse. This experience has been a easily the most exasperating of my near decade of buying online. I have no reason to believe CG will survive. I'm not rooting against them because they do portray a certain innocence (but that's probably them just pulling the wool over my eyes), but for the love of God please get your ....together.

I'm not surprised. No call from CG.com. I called CG's toll free # five times around 7 00pm est. It seems that there phones are disconnected. On one call I even got their fax machine. Pardon my complaining. But this has reached the point that even a mild mannered person like myself cannont put up with. I'll do everything in my power to rectify this.

CoyoteGo.com is inept or a scam in my opinion
In my opinion you are taking a huge risk dealing with these guys. Numerous delays with promises to send product. Many promises to call back and they never do. The people I have talked to at CoyoteGo include Slade Austin, Dr Larry Thompson (supposedly the owner), Alicia, Justin, etc. all sound great but do not deliver. (I have no idea if these are their real names) They are very nice over the phone but hardly ever keep their word and or ship the products. They have had my money since the beginning of last month. Phone numbers they are using include the main number on there website and these following numbers: 505-242-5008, 305-797-4013, 505-242-5001, 505-247-3810, 505-242-4200, (505) 821-3283 (some are now disconnected). These are they same guys on eBay under drlarry505. Negative comments are starting to stack up. drlarry505 (eBay username) is no longer a registered user at eBay. ONLY try to buy with a credit card so you can charge back (if you are feeling brave). Beware!!! |

Your confidence does little for the majority of people here that dont share your feelings of pitty. I'm sorry man but this is inexcusable. Its just seems odd that they're having so many problems but the only problem they're not having is taking peoples money... their phone company keeps having problems, their shipping keeps having problems, their support center people aren't under their control and are for most part unable to give answers or provide help, the only thing thats seemed to improve there is they're more hospitable but after being told several times that they're going to do something and it nevers gets done, their hospitality starts to become patronizing. Their bad service coupled with the blatant lies really cannot be excused
And I called jalibers responses trite not because i'm an irate a-hole or trying to insult the guy, quite the opposite but I mean he keeps repeating the same lines in different manner to everyones complaint but on the other side of that he's the only one that seems to truly helping people so that I acknowledge but at the same time its a bit dismaying to think that one has to join a forum, this forum in particular and bitch daily to get help. What of the people that are not aware of this site and do not have it on their side I wonder.
To be honest enough time has been spent on this all and I'm heading elsewhere, and these deals aren't that stellar if you look around considering you might not save an extra several dollars but not have to deal with this. Just_Z- I too am now kicking myself in the head for I will have gotten mine 4 days after the order and thanks to 4th sale coupon for $25 LESS to boot.
Well thats it for me, i wish you all luck.
