PartsPC Aka Bzboyz Rip Off
The worst company You could ever deal with. I have been trying to give my reviews for partspc on reseller ratings by for some reason it wont accept them. I have already given my reviews for bzboyz.com and i would like to give them same since they are the same company.
Here is a post right from pricewatch forums. http://66.195.100.5/forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=351
My problem with this company is i was sold a CPU that is crap and bzboyz RMA will end up costing me more money then what i paid for the CPU. Over 200. they want $28 service charge to support this RMA and a estimated $28.00 for overall shipping; and a $35 service fee for your part in the process regardless of the outcome fee. All this and the tech guy said it would be twelve weeks wait time for an RMA. I could not believe it.
also if you look at the reviews on pricewatch.com they are all FAKE, and you can not give a bad review to this company on that site. Believe me I have tried many times. Here is some of their reviews and i quote
"“Partpc gives great service, good products and on top of that becomes not your computer dealer but your family member. They work for customers. God Bless them.” FAKE
"this website and there customer service is great. I love them . A+" FAKE
Also Partspc aka bzboyz offers a mouse, keyboard, or a cell anttena if you give a good review on pricewatch.com
PLEASE BLACKLIST THIS HORRIBLE HORROBLE COMPANY.

Welcome to RR.
One of the first things to check when dealing with compines in the US is the http://www.bbb.org/
It would have paid off in this case. partspc.com/ and bzboyz.com/ may infact be the same company, being listed at;
2698 Junipero Ave.
Signal Hill, CA 90755
One being in Suite #106 and the other being in Suite #108. Next door nieghbors at least.
Niether company is a member of the BBB and both have been given a "F" grade by the BBB, which means; Quote: |
We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.
| Links to the BBB sites; bzboyz.com Partspc.com
EDIT:
The reports for both of these companies where started at least five years ago. Also, they both have a rating of around 5 (on a scale of 1-10) here at RR.

Well, turfshop.com is registered to (from WhoIs); Quote:
Impulse Communications, Inc.
10061 Talbert Ave.
Suite 226
Fountain Valley
CA
92708
US
| Turfshop.com has no listing with the BBB, but Impulse Communications has an A rating http://www.labbb.org
I've also noticed that pcparts.com and bzboyz.com have reinstated thier BBB membership and both are now getting a 'B' rating, Quote: |
A good rating that still implies reputability. The rating may relate to length of time in business, a past problem that’s been corrected, or something else that does not cause problems for consumers. We believe a company with this rating would generally conduct business and respond to any complaints satisfactorily.
| . Which brings those two compinies more up to par with the rating they have here at RR, around a five. I highlighted part of the BBB's rating for that reason. (Maybe they got bought out, or they canned Vinnie, the family crack-head. Who knows? )
Myself, I'll wait until they get that rating up to a A or AA, 8-9 here at RR.

After I found out they went to a B rating I was shocked and put in a complaint from a previous order to the BBB. They have just offered me a store credit after they sell my items and I pay for shipping and service charges with both will be rediculously inflated and end up costing me more money for a useless store credit. I of course refused and am sure their rating will get lowered at the BBB.
If you check out tufshop.com and goto contact us it does read
General Information
Pc-Ontime.com is located at the following address:
2698 Junipero Ave
Unit# 108
Signal Hill
CA 90755.
so i have no doubt it is the same company only reason i knew to check them out was from comments in RR stating they were the same company.
I will try to (WhoIs) Partspc and bzboyz and see if they are registered to Impulse Communications, Inc. too....
This company has more names then a phone book and probably will change It again soon if they haven’t already.

Final letter from Bzboyz, aka partspc, aka tufshop.com, aka Pc-Ontime.com, aka Micro
This is the Final letter from Bzboyz.com, aka partspc.com, aka tufshop.com, aka Pc-Ontime.com, aka MicroX after complaining to the BBB in the end i havent really acomplished much. I have found that the BBB doesnt really do much they are only the in between person and if the company chooses to BS them they dont care as long as they response to their letters.
MicroX is the Corporation, and we have multiple websites. You had purchased product in November, contacted about problem after 30 days, and only in April asked for refund. 6 Months after purchase date we can not give you Refund. So we offered to help you. Please note product prices do drop and we can help with exchange, if the products are in warranty. About swearing, Please accept our apology, but it seems that you had called and spoken with 3 different employees and each one of them had written about the matter of conversation. Regardless you are a customer, and we will definately will do whatwe can to help you. We have given you options, please consdier them.
FYI all options are for me to pay more money and them to sell my item for me and pay high shipping / processing fees, and get even more ripped off.

Bought a Mb/CPU/Memory combo from those crooks. They sent incompatible memory so it won't boot. Tried Live Help with "Rose" to upgrade to compatible memory and get an RMA to return the other and all I got was sarcasm and 2 hours of the silent treatment.
I've had good service and good prices from Newegg and I'm sure there are other reputable internet sellers, but there is no shortage of crooks out there. Buyer beware for sure!

A message from Bzboyz/PartsPC
Hello,
For all the members of this forum we would like to inform you that MicroX, Inc., dba Bzboyz and Partspc was purchased a couple of years ago. The new owners saw the opportunity and the potential of the existing business operations; however, understood that the overall policies and customer service needed drastic improvement.
Since the purchase we have been working hard to improve the quality of service and efficiency of the order processing. It is still a work in progress.
However, we are making good progress. We are an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau where we have successfully increased our ratings to an "A" rating. Also, on Ebay we have achieved an over 99% approval rating.
We hope that you will visit our site again and give us another try. If you have any problems please let us know and we will work very hard to keep you as a customer.
Regards,
Bzboyz/Partspc

Bzboyz Purchase
I placed 4 orders in total from Bzboyz and every one of them was perfect. I bought a dual core AM2 MB, CPU, and memory combo, which worked perfectly, and made subsequent memory chip purchases--all parts working as advertised. Price wise, I couldn't find a better deal anywhere, especially when you consider the free shipping. Let me state here that I am a long-time computer tech, and am not a shill for any company. I have also placed orders from 3BTech (who also got a lot of bad ratings), and Geeks. I have learned some things that might help others. First, let me say that the vast majority of computer parts I've bought (from all vendors) worked trouble free. One exception here is from individuals on Ebay. First, I noticed many would be techs have a nonchalant attitude about STATIC PROTECTION. You can zap a chip on a circuit board without even knowing it, and mistakenly think you received a bad part. And when working with ATX systems, you must be connected to a 'true' ground (as from an electrical outlet, which they make anti-static wrist straps for that you can plug in) because touching the case will just not suffice. Another thing is eschew refurbished motherboards and used/refurbished hard drives. The price may be tempting, but is not worth the hassle. The motherboard may have been returned from some intermittent problem that is not readily apparent. Also, I've mostly had trouble with used and/or white label hard drives. I think if you remember these few rules (especially about static protection), your experience with upgrading and assembling computer systems will be much more gratifying.
