Still No Refund
So I have filed a complaint with the BBB and Hifi still refuses to refund my money. The BBB has sent a notice saying that the company will not respond to the complaint. I spoke with a rep who said they showed the items being received after I sent them back but the case had been closed without a refund being issued. He said he would reopen the case and this morning after 8 days without a refund still yet, I spoke with a different rep who hung up after discovering what I was inquiring about and apparently has now blocked my calls as every time I try to call it says "Hello, the mailbox is full, thank you for calling Goodbye". NEVER ORDER FROM THIS WORTHLESS COMPANY IF YOU HAVN'T ALREADY MADE THE MISTAKE!!!!! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH DISHONESTY AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. HIFISOUND IS A COMPLETE SCAM ALL THE WAY AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a dispute number somewhere in this posting as well as some other numbers I posted of the company. Best bet is keep trying, and contact the company who's product you purchased and complain to them, so they might put pressue on HIFI Sound to give you a refund, and of course, always try a chargeback on your CC

Mr. Rush,
I have an outstanding issue and I am bringing it to your attention as you requested. Your company house now blocked my phone calls and I would appreciate some attention to this issue.

Problems with Hi Fi Sound Connection
I wish that I would have checked this forum before I made a purchase from Hifisoundconnection.com. Or, should I say gave them my money. I ordered a set of speakers from them and they told me that they were in stock. When they did not show up in a timely manner I called the company multiple times as they won't answer the phone. I sent multiple emails and finally got a response advising me that the speakers were on back order. Now two months later I had to call my credit card company and report them as fraudulent so I would be credited for what I spent. I do not recommend that anyone do business with this disreputible company.

Well chalk another one up for getting screwed by this company. I ordered 2 seperate orders in the same day first one was 2 MB quart RSH 302 subs. The second one was later in the day with a 4 gauge amp kit and a 2farat capacitor. These guys sent me one amp kit and one sub... shorted me a sub and wont send it. When i called they were like oh yeah i see the problem we'll send it out immediately. Then after a week... no sub. So i emailed them and i get a few different responses about we dont have it in stock YET, we are looking into our shipping to see what happened, and then just no response at all. Thats when i looked for this post. I filled out a complaint with the BBB and now I'mfilling one out on here. What sucks is my wife is the one back home and I'm over here in afghanistan ordering stuff for when i get home in a couple months and i'm getting f**ked by these guys over something stupid that is an easy fix. Being that I'm military my first reaction is I live close enough i should go pay them a personal visit. Choke out the one thats messing with my money until they give me my sub. It just pissed me off to no end that this company would try and rip people off as bad as they are. I wish the BBB would shut these dumb asses down. I mean how many complaints does it take to make it happen. Imagine how many people out there that haven't found this site. Right now I'm just stuck. I know the BBB isnt going to have gotten any response by them on by Sept 3 and i paid for one item out of main bank account and the other out of my play account. I'll have to talk with my bank to figure outwhat i need to do. Till then I hope their business doesnt magically burn down. i'm in Afghanistan what can i do! Seriously though all i want is my sub which i have rightfully paid for. Easy solution!

Terrible experience. If I hadn't received about $40 worth of the rest of my order, I would think this company is a scam of some sort.
Ordered set of speakers on Sept 18th($273). Has been a terribly inconvenient experience with hifisoundconnection. For roughly 1 solid month now they have had my payment and given back nothing but assurances that the speakers "will be there soon". I've gotten multiple replies that they are backordered, that they will have them sent straight from supplier, that I may have an instore credit. Noone there will answer the phone. The online Cust Service never seems to be ONLINE. I can get NOONE there to respond to requests to refund my money.
Myself, my audiophile friends/family will never purchase from this company either on their site or eBay again. When posting pics and documentary of my install on the Forums I frequent, I'll be mentioning this horrid experience as well.
As it stands, this has been turned over to Paypal for resolution and I have already re-placed my order elsewhere AND received the speakers. Why couldn't HiFi have just done this?

Blackin0494,
Paypal won't do anything for you. The BBB is voluntary and they don't belong. Only a credit card company gets results and sometimes the speaker Manfacturer too. Down the road HIFI sound will ship the speakers, you'll refuse the order, and they will give you a refund minus the restocking fee.
Good Luck

I will probably lose over $300.0
On Aug.24 th 2009 I purchased 2 car receivers, 6 6"x9" speaker boxes and 8 speakers from HIFISoundconnection.com . I paid via PayPal the total amount + shipping : $ 478.28
Shortly after the purchase I received 1 car receiver and the 6 speaker boxes ( worth approx. $150.00)
It has now been 10 weeks , they still advertise the items I bought on their site but obviously do not have them in stock .
Because I was too patient PayPal will not do a thing ( more than 45 days) . HIFISoundconnection offered me a store credit but there is nothing similar in store at comparable price .
Is this a scam ? Can they take your money for something that is not in stock and then give you a store credit ?
I would not complain at all if I had been charged only for the items they sent , but being charged the full amount for the items and the full amount for shipping is not acceptable .

If you paid Paypal with a credit card dispute it, you don't have the merchandise. Paypal WILL NOT get you a resolution. Better be quick.
