Problems with HiFiSoundConnection - What to do?

I have purchased an item from hifisoundconnection.com
I payed it & I have not received my item.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM hifisoundconnection
They do not respond to their phone calls or e-mails.
They are a cheesy company. I did hear more than dozens of complaint about them.
If you want of peace of mind shop from another company.

about a month and a half ago I purchased a custom fit speaker box from hi fi sound connection. it was for a chevy avalanche fitted behind the rear seat. however it doesn't fit. I then contacted the commpany via email and told them about the prob. they acknowledged the prob, so I asked how I could get my money back. they told me that they didn't give refunds on enclossures. so if I wanted a box that didn't fit I would have given carpentry a stab. anyway I call the company and talk to this ben character in customer service. I tell him the prob and he says hell put me through to a manager. after being on hold for about 5 mins I get disconnected. thinking it was a accident I called back and got a message saying this mail box is full, goodbye. all day this went on. on three separate phones. they have failed to respond to my emails and still have mmy cash and im left with a unusable product. a defective or faulty or any other word that means im getting screwed. any body have any ideas let me know

I guess my problems with HiFi Sound connection are not isolated. I purchased something and need to return but they won't respond except for poor e-mails. Trying to get someone on the phone is a joke. Does anyone know their physical address (not their PO box) so I can shipp something back?

I don't recommend that, because it will just get sent back to you via return to sender... I think I posted an number for them in a earlier post

I contacted them again and they resolved my issues. they have a new dept now dedicated to resolving customer disputes/issues.

so now I have gotten a response from the company. I have put a complaint into the bbb and ic3. the bbb got back to me saying there was no response. the company told me that the would offer 100 in credit on a 149.99 box. also I had to stop writinng bad feedback and drop complaints. I will do so so long as my needs are met. the only thing bothering me is that say I take the credit or they accept my trade I offered and the product they agree to send never shows up. what then? I mean there are plenty of examples of them saying things are on back order and never shipping. so if they make this right yeah I would shut my mouth but only when this gets put to rest

I too have had serious problems with hifisoundconnection after purchasing an item on ebay. After a series of 47 emails and countless phone calls, I have still not recieved my refund nearly a year later. I have sent an email to their "new" complaints department and will let everyone know if my refund is resolved.

I too ordered some stereo stuff, over $380 worth. Took over a month and when I tried to cancel the order due to the excessive time, I was told it was shipped and would cost 20% re-stocking fee!!! If only I would have known about this company first.

p.s. don't buy from "on-line car stereo" either

I got screwed over by hifisoundconnection to many times. I know another site that is alot better and I have not had any trouble with. It's called www.jessesautoelectronics.com They have a good selection of products and fast shipping. I think you should report them the the bbb.
