I feel I've been ripped off by Letterfolders.com
I made an internet order of 1 November for just under $25 of replacement blades for a photo trimmer. I received immediate confirmation of the order that stated it was not a final invoice and I would be informed of shipping charges and that I would be given a tracking order. I received a similar e-mail the next day. Then I heard nothing.
On 27 November, I saw on my credit card statement that I had been charged nearly $50. I contacted Letterfolders.com querying the very high shipping charges and the fact that they had failed to notify me of what they were. Also, I wanted to know where the items were as I had not received anything.
They e-mailed back stating "Shipped usps ---no tracking and because it was shipped to the UK---hence ship fees."
I e-mailed again requesting information and help in finding this parcel and they have since that time ignored all e-mails and I have had no further contact from them.
I have since found this forum and this ratings sites and have posted on their ratings page to warn others. If only I had seen that before - there were seven bad review and then strangely four good reviews. Now there is mine.
I am posting this as a warning. Thank goodness it was not for more money.
Is there some sort of internet purchasing authority I can take this up with? Any help would be welcome.
Thanks.
