I hate UPS

I just want to say i hate UPS officially now.

I hate how it says "Guaranteed 3 Day Shipping" on newegg.com, and then it doesnt arrive for four. I wouldnt mind if it was like, "UPS Ground" and it said like 3-5 days, but they have to be cocky and say "Guaranteed"

from now on, im paying more for FedEx

why did newegg switch over to UPS anyways? i mean im sure it has to do with something business wise, but was there a specific reason?

it was a few months ago...first it was just an option then they changed it to default

if ups ground was 3-5 days that would be awesome but its usually 10 days or so for me...so yeah i try to use fedex whenver possible

"Guaranteed 3 Day Shipping" once the order processing is complete is generally what they mean.

If you order at 8pm their time, the 3 days don't start counting till probably the next afternoon.

Actually if you price compare FedEx turns out to slightly cheaper. There is also a comparison between the two somewhere in this forum. Overall FedEx is cheaper, handles packages better and has better service. So, yeah for my business I try and use FedEx as much as possible.

When you ship as much as newegg does, you get to negotiate prices with vendors.

I've made several UPS-shipped orders from Newegg, and not once was one delivered in 3 days. I suppose it could happen if you are in a big town, but out here in flyover country, it just doesn't happen. Can't blame Newegg for that!

Ya, I am not buying from newegg anymore unless I have to...I now buy from ZipZoomFly...because they have free 2 day FedEx shipping.

actually UPS is Very reliable but fedex is good too I've ordered things from newegg and they have came in two days after I ordered!

in my case, it was shipped, and then took 4 days to get here

it as actually 5 days from the time i ordered
