Rebel XT Body only? What does it mean?

Hey i don't want to sound like a newbie but anyhoo when i see online for a Canon Digital Rebel XT (Body only) what's does that mean? what comes in the box? any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

It means it does not come with a lens. Quite litterally you just get the body so you have to buy a compatable lens separately.
