I was reading the reviews on RR about them, and while they have PLENTY of good reviews, there are also several mixed reviews when multiple parts were ordered.

I can get the parts I need from CV for about $40 less than I can from Newegg, which is who I usually order from.

I'll be ordering a mobo, cpu, vid card, ram and dvdRW drive.
I've read reviews that speak of crushed parts, parts missing, etc, etc. But once customer support is contacted, everything is taken care of.
But the thing is, is that I DO NOT want to have to return anything, or wait for shipping of a product that was not included.

Anyone make any big purchases from CV before? Or should I just suck it up and spend the $40 for newegg?

Even Newegg makes those kinds of mistakes you listed, its really a personal choice for you then anything, I have heard people speak highly of CV, but I have not actually bought anything from there as of yet.

Yeah, it's just that I've had so much good luck with Newegg, but that $40 is kind of a huge deal.
Just wanted to get a bit more feedback before I jump in.

chief value is newegg...they are owned by the same company, ship from the same warehouse...just a different interface

Their website is also friendlier to my slow Mac at work.
