In about five months my laptop went dead. Sent it in and waited a very long time but it came back and worked again. A month or so later it dies again. Send it in and again a slow turn around time but it comes back working. So now its about a year and 3 months (approx. Dec 5, 2005) and its been fixed countless times and guess what? It dies again!! Send it back it comes back
and promptly dies 3 days later. This laptop is a piece of junk! Josh who is the supposed owner likes to hem and haw and then pass the buck without taking responability. Keep in mind this laptop is for business and graphics only(Carrara, Boris Red, After Effects) and sits most of the time in a 58-60 degree temp. controlled room. Not only is all this an inconvenience but it has cost me time and money for my business! Now I'm really p/oed. This will
be the 4th or 5th repair in the year and 4 months I've had this laptop. This many repairs for a 4300.00 dollar laptop!?!?! Still no RMA number, still no phone call from Steve and Josh who is the owner of the company is so lacidasical about taking responsability its a constant excuse. By now I don't care how I get my money back or a completely NEW replacement I will
get it back or NEW replacement one way or another. Plain and simple your company is run very poorly with poorer products to boot.
The Lies:
Whats more is your most recent response to a bad review states that you pay for return shipping. FALSE! I had to pay FedEx aprox. 40.00 each time. Lest you forget that I am a business and I do keep all my receipts
When I initiall ordered Josh stated I would get a laptop bag just like the ones AlienWare was offering for free at the time just without the name on it. False. I get a 9.00 dollar cheapo, no pockets, no protection bag. I went to eBags.com and got a High Sierra bag, similar to AW's, very similar to thier Tank model and spent 50.00
Josh stated that they use Sager which is what AW uses. From what I have read here AW uses Fujistu which is supposed to be better designed and engineered. In fact if you search it seems that Sager has very poor reliabilty due to the design and engineering.
Widow PC suffers from the same as all the other specialty PC companies-poor customer service. The bad reviews at Monarch, Overdrive and others read just like my experience. Why not fix it so its right? Obvisously my laptop was never fixed correctly and they took so long on repairs as to make sure it would be out of warranty.

You paid way too much for that laptop, even then it was too expensive. You could have picked up a laptop for half that cost to meet your needs.

Actually the cost was closer to 3600.00 but with time lost and FedEx shipping its a hell of a lot more.
