Saw a disturbing post in Monarch's forums,apparantly they're planning to offer only OEM AMD cpu's in their systems,meaning unless you purchase an extended warranty(which they've raised the prices for twice recently),one of the most expensive components in your system won't have a decent warranty.Not a good idea,the cost difference between OEM and retail box cpu's isn't that great that I'd be willing to give up a 5 year warranty.
Update: Apparantly no one else liked the idea,either,Monarch quickly reversed their plans and made boxed retail cpu's available again.
