I recently ordered from SoftGhost and I cannot get in touch with them. I have heard of some people having problems, and some that were fine, can anyone give me info on them? I live near Delaware, and I am thinking of pulling a Punch Drunk Love on them. This is ridiculous, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt, at first.

FYI I just ordered something from them on 10/10/05 and haven't heard a thing about delivery or received ANY correspondence from them yet. Order status just indicates "shipment pending." E-mail from them states that their phone system is unavailable "due to recent upgrade in phone system." I think I'm going to cancel my order. Did you ever receive your stuff?

hey thanks for the thread. i got a call from the guy this morning after i sent a couple sternly worded -emails. he said he was shipping my product out tonight and that i would be receiving a tracking number around 5:30pm EST (their closing time). he said he upgraded my ground shipping to red overnight for the trouble and i'll get it minday. well, guess what, no ups tracking # and no response to my e-mail saying they missed the shipment either. these guys are no good. one of the worst e-tailors i've dealt with. now i'm one the hook for a couple hundred bucks. if i don't receive it monday, i'll cancel the order.

Worst reseller to work with. I ordered a WD4000KD and it never arrived; I left voice mails and stern emails for them but they never replied to any. They have some bullshit voicemail message saying phone-services "are being upgraded and are down". My order status has sat at "pending shipment" for two weeks. 3-5 processing days my ass! Don't deal with these clowns. I'm reporting them to the BBB.

"Thanks" for affirming my agony with this outfit. Ya know, I told them I would cancel my order if they didn't follow thru (which they didn't) -- so I cancelled it and and told them not to ship my product or I'll refuse delivery. And you know what? I received a tracking number from them anyway! Actually, it is only "billing info received" which doesn't mean crap. Call your cc company and have them suspend your charge from them -- they actually charged my card and never shipped. Even though it's costing me more to order from someone else, I'll never have to put up with their lies again. I'll report them to the bbb too. When did you place your order with them?

Oct 6th. I'm reporting to both my home-state BBB and the deleware BBB since they're operating in deleware. In my home state, if they have 3 unresolved BBB cases, they're license to operate here gets suspended. I'm not sure what the laws are in delaware.

Also, I used American Express. If AMEX gets enough cancelled orders from softghost.com, I'm sure they'll stop letting softghost bill them.

Good. I used amex too and were were very cooperative about putting the suspension on the payment during the "investigation." I faxed them all my e-mail correspondence to help them out too. If you still have yours, you may hep build a case against the ghost. I'm in CA and I'm not sure how the BB handles this sort of thing with Delaware e-tailers.
