about Monarch...

I place my order on 9-12 and as of now it is still at stage 2. I call them about 3 times now, the first time, they told me it will move on very soon. 2nd time they told me that the status page is now working right. 3rd time they told me that it will be on stage 2 until the very end. I am about to give me another call. Just want to know if anyone else place a system, did they told you that when you guys call them or am I the only one here that is still waitting for my system from them?

After I had read more reviews from what ppl say about their systems, I am really thinking about getting my money back and look else where. Anyway, they told me my system will be ship on Oct. 3. hope so.

I was considering getting a system from Monarch myself,but I'm concerned with the reports I've been seeing of very long waits for systems,and even more troubling,technical problems with those systems when they finally arrive.Monarch has it's own forums on it's site,if you look there you'll find you're not alone,a lot of people are still waiting for their computers.The fact that Monarch's rating has dropped from 9.7 when I first started looking around to 9.25 now worries me,if you take away customer reviews based on those only buying seperate components,and go by ones by people getting complete systems,the drop would be even greater.I'll have to see a marked improvement in this before I buy from them.

Well,they're down to 9.1,problems with non-working systems continue,and even people who are forking over $100 for the"hot rush" option are complaining about late deliveries.This is not what I'd hoped to see,despite their great prices and selection,I'm about ready to find someone else to build my system.

If you are mad as heck and won't take it anymore, ask to talk to Sterling. He seems to be the one with the bargaining power. The reviews you see on most sites are mostly bad ones, because that's when people want to post the most. I think they just need a little better organization and better tools to keep track of their stock, since it seems to run out a lot, even when their site says it's in. I actually believe they are at 8.72 rating now. My order was a year ago, so I don't know if things are more hectic there now, but he's still there. At least give it a shot.
