Hi herm,

Look here --> WidowPC reviews..

To find stores, just type the store name or partial name into our 'stores' search field at the top right of our pages, or you can browse our 'top stores' listings.

Alternatives

herm22, at least you did some research and didn't fall for the hype, besides WidowPC, did you check out those places too?

AAC, FNW, HWG, HPC, MG, OPC, RM, S^R, TB, VM, or VD

If you don't care for unique hardware features and/or custom paint, those places are pretty safe to buy from too

ABS, AD, Demon, GT, HK, L2, MPC, PCC, TC, VPC, or even Z

Couple years ago the list could've been different as some stores are slipping in quality and tech support when they're overwhelmed, as seen in CyberP, iBuyP, and Monarch. Be careful with some builders marketing as high end yet you get crappy unit with little to no support (hint: the one with stupid ET logo).

If you don't want to spend that much, what other options? Build on yourself of course, I priced out a unit with all parts needed from newegg for $900, had I order a rig of the same specs from any of the places above, it'd been easily over $1500, maybe even more.
