Looking for a good 19 inch LCD Monitor

Good Evening,

I will be purchasing a new Overdrive PC in the near future. I am looking for a LCD monitor in the 19 inch range or 17 inch widescreen, if there is such a thing. Games such as UT 2K4, business applications and burning & watching CDs', DVDs', respectively is what the computer will be used for.

Would anyone out there have a suggestions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Super Hazmat:)

Misc

Thanks Jim,

I checked out your link and liked what I saw. I'm leaning to the Viewsonic at the moment. So many to choose from and so little time it seems. I don't want to spend more than $ 600.00 CDN if I can help it. The viewsonic from the link you sent fits right into my price range.

Thanks very much for the link. More importantly thanks for your time and help.

Have a good evening.

Hazmat

No problem. I've been thinking of getting one also.

i just bought a new viewsonic

I recently purchased a 19" Viewsonic 191b from newegg for around 450 including shipping.

It arrived in a couple of business days with no dead pixels and have had no problems with it thus far.

The picture quality is excellent and would highly recommend it.

Samsung 930B. On sale at many of the major retail outlets. I got one for $329 after rebates at Best Buy. For games and DVD's: 8ms response time.
VGA and DVI inputs. 700 contrast ratio. 300 nits.
Worked straight out of the box, no dead pixels.
Highly recommend this one considering the specs for the price.
