Selecting Ram for my new X2 4400...help

Hello

I need some help pick some ram for my new pc i am going with either the X2 4400 or X2 3800 and a Asus a8n-e nf4u s939 pci motherboard.I may do a little oc but may not.

I am located in canada and looking for 2x1GB sticks,i was going to go with the Crucial Value series but they are very hard to find up here, almost impossible.

Here are my other choices tell me what you think, which would be just as good or wether i should continue to hunt for crucial.

If you don't care about overclocking, then any value series will do fine. If you do, this will probably be the best for you. You can find it elsewhere cheaper.

If you are going to go spend the money on a dual core processor, don't buy value ram. Value ram tends to have slow timings, and no ability to overclock.

You will probably be able to get better prices if you buy 4 x 512mb. You can still run dual channel. Check out patriot ram models pdc1g3200llk, or if you want to go all out and get tccd ram(much better overclocking), go for the pdc1g3200+xblk, both are at newegg.

I just built a system for a client and the +xblk series is screaming fast and worth every penny.

Yes, TCCD chips are the best. However, 4x512mb would be extremely expensive as opposed to value ram. And the ram does not need to affect the overclock of a CPU as a divider can always be used, and timings are not as important to A64s as with AXPs. A value 2x1GB is about as cheap as value 512mbx4.
