how do YOU use DVD-RAM?

i guess i better consider this before making my DVD Burner choice.

what are the benefits of this feature?
what do you use it for?

thanks.

EDIT: did some looking around...learned a bit. not all DVD-RAM drives require a cartridge? anyone feel the cost of media is worth the feature? i save Dvix & Mpeg, any need for DVD/RW at all, besides capacity?

I must ask, what would be your reasoning to go with DVD-RAM, It's compatable with next to nothing and much more expensive?

The simple answer is no.

It an obsolete technollogy not well suited for mainstream. A simple $50 DVD+-RW from Lite-On or NEC will be best route.
