Ever order the wrong item? Useful suggestion

Last week I ordered a Panasonic DVD-LX9 by mistake - meant to order the DVD-LX95. I realized my mistake the following morning. I had purchased from Buydig.com. Reading their exchange info on their website, I understood that I would have to contact them for a return number, and be charged a 10% restocking fee. After a 10 minute hold on their line (with no music), I finally spoke with a customer service agent. He told me to refuse delivery on the package and that they would refund the entire amount...no restocking fee charge, and NO postage! I don't know if this is also the case with other online merchants, but this applies to Buydig.com and Beach Camera. I've done a good bit of online buying, and this was the first time I learned of this...well, it was also my first ordering mistake. Hope this info is useful!

That is a good thing to know. While I don't make a habbit of ordering the wrong items, I have refused delivery because I simply didn't want an item after I found a better deal somewhere else. It's a good thing to get out there.
