Keep away from broadwayphoto (bwayphoto.com)
Don't be the next victim!
Better be away from this sucking company by my recent shopping experience with them.
They are making money by trying to charge restoring fee and shipping fee, unless you accept what you are sold.
Broadway photo is the worst dealer I ever met.
Be careful.

Don't buy from Broadwayphoto
Don’t buy any thing from this company. Their ad is deceptive, the sales people are dishonest.
I recently purchased a Canon Elura 100 MiniDV camcorder from them. I checked price comparison on internet, their pricing looked reasonable ($296 plus shipping). When I called to place the order, I was told the battery pack in the box was a short 20 min one, and was tricked to buy 2 additional “2 hours” battery from them. I then found out that the Canon manufacture box includes a BP-208DG battery which runs 150 min and longer. All other online merchants carrying Elura 100 sell the manufacture box which includes Battery Pack BP-208DG and more. BroadwayPhoto is the only one repackaging the box and charge customers more for it. PLUS, they even have a worse customer service!

Steer clear of shopcartusa, shill site
I've already made my comments in the reviews, but I'm kicking myself for not finding this site sooner.
I found Bway on shopcartusa. They had nothing but glowing reviews and the store had great prices. After I got screwed, I posted a negative review there. Never saw it. It's a shill site and I want everyone to know it. I think the more you spend in advertising the better your reviews.

Horrible Experience As Well
I also wish I had known about this site before the DAYS I spent looking for my digital camera.
When my husband and I contacted Broadway (one of SIX online stores we did call --- and all except one, whom we did purchase from --- were almost as rude, deceptive and unprofessional), to ask a few questions related to the camera, restocking/return policy, etc., the sales representative said "I've just spent 8 minutes talking with you and I have better things to do with my time... I know you called just to pick a fight ... how dare you ...." Then, he sent us a VERY hostile email, whereby he made excuses for his rude and unprofessional behavior.
Even if this company had the best price/deal we would not (and did not) buy from them. Customer Service? No, Customer ABUSE!
We are notifying everyone that we know not to buy from them (or the other 5 rude and dishonest stores).

Unfortunately I placed an order with bwayphoto.com before checking this site out and now I want to cancel so that I don't get scammed. What would happen if I never called to confirm my order -- has anyone tried that?
