Looking at making a amd64 system....

Is this a good combo = Athlon 64 3700+ 2.4ghz 1mb L2 Cache 754pin and DFI LANPARTY UT nF3 250Gb SKT754.

Have £300 max.

Don't waste your time on socket 754, it's a dead end.

You'd probably be better off with the gigabyte mb and 3500+
