NewEgg or ZipZoomFly
I am currently with debate with myself and wondering if you all could help me out. Please give me you honest to god opinion and not promo shot-outs. I am going to build a computer that costs around $4000 and want to know who is the better bargain even though ZZF has lower prices. I do not want to get $4000.00 of crap at my door. I would like what I asked for...Do you know of a special arrangement that I could make with either company to ensure that my 4000 bucks are going to go towards what I actually bought and not what they screwed up on. I do not want to be stuck with restocking fees so tnx for your help if you can give it.

I'm pretty sure if one of those companies mess up your order they will fix it. ZZF has a lot of freeshipping while newegg, charges a few dollars for everything you order.
I would add all the products you want from both sites and compare the total when shipping and tax is added. Then make your decision from there.

I wouldn't hesitate to go for Newegg. Of course that doesn't mean I wouldn't buy from ZipZoomFly. It's just one of those instinct things.

Well I think their both good but I've only had experience with Newegg.com personally. I know that Newegg.com will replace items if they ship them incorrectly, and ZipZoomFly would probably do the same. I don't think you really need to worry about one of those companies messing up and taking advantage of you. But then again, with $4000 I'd probably be worried too.

Newegg all the way!!
I would like to point out that if you decide to order from Newegg, we would not charge you a restocking fee for any replacement that is needed. Restocking fees' only apply for refund returns (and, can be waived if necessary). We will package the order as best as possible, so to ensure no physical damage.
If an item should arrive defective, rest assured that Newegg would do anything in its power to help any of our beloved customers; until total satisfaction.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Jason at 800-390-1119 ext 2050.
Thank You
Best Regards,
Newegg customer Support

I would choose zipzoomfly.
They offer 2nd day shipping free.
And if the item you are looking for is not available in zipzoomfly or more expensive(like ~$20) than newegg, then I would go newegg.

ZZF is great, their products are just like the ones you would get from newegg, they have free shipping on most items, while newegg does not, but I don't know how good their customer support/service is, newegg's is great!

Customer Service should be a large consideration when making online purchases. I have bought many items from both Newegg and ZZF over the past 4 years. Newegg's customer service is exceptional. ZZF, offers comparable prices, and free shipping - but customer service can leave a lot to be desired if there is a problem. After many purchases from ZZF without issue - my first encounter with customer service left me hesitant to click the "buy" button. Where customer service is concerned - no comparison - Newegg 5 Stars.

Might depend as well on who is closer.
Have you ever tried Axiontech or Directron?
They are both right there in your state. I think one or both has a "willcall" as well, if you were close enough, you could pick it up and save all the shipping.

I live in Hawaii and when I'm ordering lightweight INDIVIDUAL items like hard drives, Dvd or Cd drives, motherboard, etc, I go with Zipzoomfly since they only charge me $10 shipping. When I buy in quantities or parts to make a full system, I go with Newegg since the shipping cost after everything has been calculated is much cheaper with Newegg, plus Newegg has a lot of good quality refurbished products at very low prices.
