Certainly do consider both of them for future purchases. there are many good online retailers out there, just as there are many bad B&M stores too.

that's why I use ResellerRatings when I buy online.

my only purchase from zipzoomfly was a nightmare. item delivered broken and they use onrebate.com for rebates which is a total scam and waste of your time. i've never had a problem with newegg. but i'll never buy from zipzoom again, and will never buy a product that a rebate is processed from onrebate.com. you'll never see the money if you use onrebate.com

I tend to go with ZZF just because they do FedEx 2-day as their standard, while Newegg now uses UPS unless you pay more and select FedEx. It is just that the UPS person for my route sucks and never rings the doorbell and leaves expensive stuff outside where all can see it. And, in the odd chance I need to sign for something, their sort facility is -very- far away. And, they seem to sit on stuff if it has a chance of getting here early. FedEx is just more reliable to me.

I do order from both, and haven't really had a bad experience with either store, however.

I would immediately order from Zip Zoom Fly for the sole fact that NewEgg has embedded a stooge on this forum to obfuscate their utter lack of customer service/integrity.

Well, to be fair, Jason is very helpful. If you've had a problem, give him a call - see what he can work out. I've had to speak to him a few times now, and he's always been able to resolve the problem much better than if I call and speak to just any customer service rep.
