Hi,
our digital camera (Toshiba) has gotten pretty old and obsolete.
We're thinking of replacing it with a camcorder which also takes still pictures.
Is this a good option or is this just another one of those items that does a lot of things but none of them well?
The still camera would not be for pictures that will be enlarged. We always burn our pictures to CD.
While I don't have a specific suggestion for you, I'd highly recommend looking for a camcorder with a memory slot (SD, xD, MMC, etc) to which it saves the pictures instead of physically to the tape.
Thanks for writing.
I have seen some advertised that will record to a mini dvd.
Have no idea if it needs converting to reg. size dvd later or how much will fit onto one of those mini dvd's.
