Nomination of 125West for Best Service
I always check RR for ratings of online vendors before buying. As I searched for 125West there was no listing. Even though I had a good feeling about 125West, I remained reluctant to proceed with an order. I read every policy and info the site provided and decided to challenge their shipping policy of curbside delivery, the strict definition being to the base of your driveway. My driveway is 600 feet long, uphill and steep, as are many of the residents in my community. I wrote a detailed email that I could not agree to the "strict" definition of curbside delivery. (To note, I have had over 100 common carrier deliveries over the past two years of home renovation and only one or two pulled the strict policy on me, despite my insistence that I needed "to the door" service--Advice: Never use Yellow Freight! I buy ALL my merchandise online, from tie shirts to marble-top funiture to expensive area rugs).
The response from 125West was immediate, assuring me that they would instruct the shipper accordingly and gave me some advice when scheduling the delivery from my end. I proceeded to place a $2,000 order for some rattan sunroom furniture. I forwarded the order to my new contact and was overwhelmed by the detail procedures that would be followed in tracking my order, particularly the shipping issue.
After approximately 250 online orders over a two year period, I cannot recommend more highly the customer service of 125West and, therefore, I have recommended to RR the inclusion of 125West in its rating service.
