Systems Newegg is being slandered by dishonest competitors and bitter people

I don't understand how I can be a Newegg customer for over three years, refer numerous friends to Newegg (not one of which has had a problem or negative experience) and look at some of these disgusting threads!!! I've been ignoring them for a few months now, but I must admit that I'm sick of it....I've reached a point where I look at Newegg as a business partner and when other's who dishonestly slam Newegg are doing it for the wrong reasons...I guess Newegg must finally be at the top because the I believe competitors and alike are trying to slander their perfect rep...IF there is anyone who would know their service, it is me, I and my clients have delt with Newegg for hundreds of orders and not once have we had an issue that couldn't be resolved by their service team. THere not outsourced to India, the hold time is low, they answer like their human and not a robot, it's easy to talk to a supervisor etc etc etc..For all you out there picking on Newegg, back off...because I'm one customer that will not tolerate it!!! If it was true, I'd be there with you, but it's not!!! Newegg is the key to my business and without them I'd be having to deal with ZipZoom and Tiger...NO THANK YOU!!!!!

Anyone else see what I'm seeing??????

mechelle, here's the problem... You say there's never been an issue you've had that couldn't have been taken care of easily. Well, first of all, any good retailer (or e-tailer) should have very few issues in the first place. I can understand some DOA parts, but not many.

And whether you like it or not, the quality of customer service has gone downhill. If you wish to believe that I am a competing business, you go ahead and believe that. Heck, report me to Resellerratings, see if they do anything.

Please provide your on-line banking info so that people can simply access YOUR account for refunds. Thank you.

What are you going to do to anyone that posts another negative thought about newegg since you won’t tolerate it?

Do you have strong feelings about any other company that we should be aware of? I'm not particularly fond of Ford Motor Company. Is it ok with you if I bash them? McDonalds is on the top of my hit list. How about them?

Everyone has different experiences and I believe luck plays a part as well. I used to feel as you do about them, great prices great products.

They, however, have screwed up my last few orders quite well, luckily the products were for my personal use, not a customer. Seems anything that ships out of the new distribution center in NJ is more prone to ship wrong. I received a $5 case fan instead of the $185 P4 3.0 CPU that I ordered. Customer service refunded my $ but it took almost two weeks. I really wanted the CPU, not the $.

Nobody is perfect and the larger they get the more people there are in the chain from ordering to shipping to louse something up.

I have received several DOA parts from Newegg. Had to get 3 boards to get one that worked. Recently received a dead DVD burner. I'm not sure this is Newegg's fault but costs me $$ just the same for return shipping.

Exactly, not only did I get my $ back but I had to pay to ship the wrong item back.

I still have no CPU and im out $5 in shipping. I offered on the phone to pay for the $5 fan I had in hand and they could then ship out the CPU I had ordered and payed for. They said it couldnt be done, refund was the only option.

Will still use them if no one else has the item I need, most of my orders have arrived okay.

I just posted a rating for GameVE.
I was going to buy a motherboard and AMD 64 processor - about $420. Both NE and ZZF were out of the motherboard and a long set of searches found GameVE. I have used them before but have gotten hooked on ZipZoomFly.

Here's an bit of it...
"Everyone else was sold out or $20 to $150 more per item. You also had to pay for ground shipping and all other shipping rates were inflated for some some ones extra pocket change. Some companies even offered "huge" software packages to reduce the impact of overcharging for OEM components (higher than retail prices) and inflated shipping."

Now that is what gets me angry. You find what you are looking for...
and the price is somewhat higher
and the parts are OEM and should be 10% to 20% cheaper
and you have to pay for shipping at very inflated rates.

Don't these morons know that people look at these things? Shipping rates are fixed - good customers (the people you buy from) get discounts - you are paying for that mysterious "handling" fee – some ones steak dinner.

I'll take an honest mistake or a DOA over obvious rape anytime.
I detest when someone thinks so little of their customers and treats them like sheep.

I gave a bad review when I had trouble with a vendor. I got a very frustrating phone call from a sales manager and he tried to bribe me to change my rating. (You want ANGRY???) And then I went through quite a few of their ratings and found many sheep (oops) I mean people that had fallen for this and changed their ratings. No, you don't do this. They went from completely dissatisfied to very satisfied. A company would not get that much of a swing from me if they fixed the problem and reversed the charges.

The whole reason for these ratings is to warn people about potential problems and to give these problem companies a kick to wake them up.

I looked at my shopping history from Newegg and since 2002 with over 23 times I've ordered I didn't have one problem with them. So for me I've had a great experience shopping there.

Bawhahaha,man your tough aren't you? So.. is Newegg the only one on your list getting em..."slandered" or you just don't care if the other ones are? I've bought a load of stuff from Newegg but frankly last computer I built I shopped around and used 6-7 vendors including Newegg.

One problem I have with Newegg is rip-off shipping on certain combined items. Buy three sticks of memory and pay about $15.00 for shipping?!?!? Needless to say I bought my memory else where and saved over $10.00. Thats not slander,thats the truth.
