THEY TOOK MY MONEY!! and I never got my order!!

I placed an order, and NEVER recieved tracking information, and I NEVER recieved my $158 order!

The site owner/manager of www.sharpside.com (Marco Cantu), is a lier and a thief. He talked all nice and polite until I paid him, and then he ignored ALL of my e-mails afterwards and pretty much stole my money!
I'm still mad! And there isn't even contact information or a phone number I can call to reach the lying bastard (aka Marco Cantu)!!

I still haven't recieved my order and it has been 30 days, and I have been ripped-off TOTALLY.

DON'T LET www.Sharpside.com RIP YOU OFF!! And tell ALL your friends!!

Is there anything I can do to get my money back?? I live in Canada, and he's in Texas. I have no phone number to reach him, and I think he has blocked my e-mail since I have been e-mailing him twice a day for about 15 days now trying to get some answers. I still have no replys....Any thoughts would be great!

Thanks!! I did contact my credit card company, and I recieved good news!!

They say to wait for one more month and if I still don;t recieve the order, they will call http://www.thesharpside.com/ themselves and refute the payment :-)

So that makes me feel a bit better.

Lesson learned, always use something like PAYPAL to order, and make sure the seller provides a PHONE NUMBER and MAILING ADDRESS.

P.S. Marco Cantu has no *****.

Read the back of your credit card bill. You must dispute the charge in writing to maintain your rights. Read and follow the instructions on your CC bill. Phone calls don't count.

I'm confused...I gave my credit card company a call, and they said nothing about doing anything in writing.... can you explain furthur, or are you just speaking from own experience?

I'm just telling you what it says on the bill and from my own experience. I guess it could be different in Canada. I'm in the US and it says right on the bill that failure to dispute a charge in writing will not preserve your rights. Even though you called I would write also. Next time you call they may say "oh, you should have submitted a dispute in writing. We can't help you now." And now it is 2 months down the road and you're screwed. It's your money.

The same thing happened to me with an outfit called Dots Plus Imaging. I ordered 2 HP printer cartridges and they never came. I wrote to my credit card company, MBNA Visa, and they removed the charge from my account. I lost nothing. I did post on this forum about my experience and advised everyone never to order from Dots Plus.

Man I'm sorry you didni't get your goods. I hope you get them or your money back.

I would never ever buy anything online from a place that wasn't a well known company. No matter how much I wanted an item I just wouldn't do it. However, I did do it one time though. A movie from someone at Ebay. I got my movie but I wanted the movie so bad I took a shot for $21.
