How much $ Can I get?

Hello

Right now I have an Athlon XP 2600+, 512MB PC-3200 Kingmax RAM, 512 PC-2700 Crucial RAM, MSI KT6V VIA kt600 Chipset Motherboard, and a 9800 Pro.
At school I will be building a computer system (2500+ athlon XP, 512 MB of RAM 80GB harddrive, so on).

Soooo, I want to upgrade to a 64Bit system, and I would not like to spend any more money. haha. Well, I put a system together with the S939 3000+ and PCI-E motherboard with a raedon X800XL video card, and 1GB of PC-3700 RAM. Total came to around $850.

My question is, do you think I can get at least $850 out of a 2500+ complete system, and a 9800 Pro, 2600+, 1GB of memory, and an MSI motherboard?

I would mess my pants if I were able to upgrade to the 64bit 3000+ with an X800XL.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

I'll keep it short and simple-no!

2500+ and 2600+ $150
9800pro $150
1GB of PC3200 RAM $100
MSI mobo ~$50

The absolute max. you can get is $500

for a 2600+ CPU, and a 2500+ box you would only say $150? Maybe you didn't understand there. The 2500+ will be a full system. I'm just not sure of the specs. I'm building for a class at school, so most likely not that impressive. Probably around 512MB of RAM, onboard video, 80GB harddrive.

New question. Is it easier to sell each part by itself, or try to find someone looking for a whole box?
Because I could put everything together in the box and have a nice system. 1.5GB of ram, 9800Pro with an overclocked 2600+

It really depends a lot... It's 50/50. If you sell each part separately you would just round it to a good price like if each part separately would be 470 or so... you would just say take it all for 450 or somethin like that
