Best Buy Problems...

I went to BestBuy.com and ordered a Xbox Live Headset (the Microsoft one) for $30. It went through fine and I selected local pickup. It went fine and in about 1hr i got an email saying your product is ready for pickup. Now I drove there and waited in line. When I got to teh front a sales rep hands me some cheap pelican headset that was worth $10 and didnt included the MemoryCard thing I needed. So after about 30 mins I managed to make them relize they screwed up. They spent another 45mins searching the store for the right product only to find out it was out of stock. I asked why it was instock online and they said "the new guy marked the wrong thing". I said whatever and bought the next thing up... a Xbox Live 3 months starter kit that was $10 more. I charged it to my card. Now 2 days later.... they charged me for the other set as well as the starter kit. Took me 1hr on the phone to get them to refund it...

I'm not saying I won't buy from them... I bought a GREAT laptop for $700 3 yrs ago..... I am a little disappointed in their customer service and their employee training.

Just laughing

Im very sorry for your "encounter" with the incompetent Best Buy bunch. I had a similar situation about a year ago; I went there, and asked them if they could upgrade my RAM to 512. So I left my computer there. 2 days later the called and told me that my comp was ready, so we drove over there, and it turned out that the Hard Drive was replaced with a 80gig one. I seriously do NOT know what genius made that mistake. I'm not even sure how that mistake is POSSIBLE. At least I got my hard drive back... Good luck with future purshases, you've been warned!
