CashBack America Caution

For those buying sewing machines (and probably other items) be very wary of offers that use Cashback America. I talked with three reputable retailers who are offering to sell machines where you get ALL your money back in three years. Being suspicious I did some internet tracking of this company. Based in Australia where they can not do business because of some purported illegalities, they are off shore and out of reach of dissatisfied American purchasers. If you know of anyone who plans on pursuing this bargain, tell them to do their home work first and then be prepared to accept no refunds.

Got more than a few good references from people who got all their money back. Cashback does have a clause that says "up to 100% back" . I am sure this would apply when the day comes that every rebate gets claimed and the pot has to be split up equally. Have you ever forgot to claim a rebate? I think sounds to good to be true, and I guess if you had to pay for it, maybe so, but the business pays for them and gives them to us. I dont think I will forget, and I would not throw away free lotto tickets either. I think its a whole lot better than a free bumper sticker! There is nothing to loose and everything to gain. I still cannot find one person who filed a legitimate claim and did not receive any money. Lots to speculate about, but I seem to believe it works much like insurance. If every person insured by state Farm filed a claim on the same day, it would crash the company. Similar to this company. NOT EVERYONE WHO GETS A REBATE COMPLETES IT. Just smart to me, buth then again the big insurance companies are smart. They helped get laws passed that mandate us to carry insurance. CASHBACK DOESNT FORCE ANYONE TO CLAIM THE MONEY, they just back it up when they do. REMEMBER THESE REBATES ARE NOT BEING PAID FOR BY THE CUSTOMERS. IT IS AGAINST CASHBACKS GUIDLINES. THEY MUST BE PAID FOR BY THE VENDOR WITH ADVERTIZING AND MARKETING MONIES. So be happy and dont forget to mail it in. If ya do forget, remember, you paid a fair price for a good product, and blew a chance at getting your money back! Your the dummy!
And they are counting on it.

I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole.
You would give yourself an ulcer fighting these people for money you would likely never get.
This certainly falls under the category of "to good to be true". Any payments that are deferred for any period at all won't be paid because this outfit will be out of business.

10 foot pole

stay away with a ten foot pole, and you too are exactly the statistic they talk about. They have been in business for 5 years in the U.S. and have paid every valid claim. You do the math, 5 years,,5 cycles of 12 months, 2 cycles of 35 months,, one cycle of 55 months,, and all claims paid. Open your eyes they are still here!!! Its FREE you brain surgeons. If you dont mail the stuff in, you will not get anything. They count on you forgetting!!! HELLO!!!! Just like the negative people in the world to slash stuff to death, that they themselves never benifitted from or would attempt too. Mainly because it would prove them wrong. Ouch!
