I would like to tell everyone about the exceptional experience I had with Monarch Computer Systems.

I placed my order for a 939/AGP AMD 64 Barebones system on 12/01/04 and there were problems presented from the motherboard manufacturers, so acquiring a 939/AGP motherboard wasn't possible. They suggested a 754 system and were willing to work with me on price to satisfy me since what happend was beyond their control, this was on 12/23/04. I told them I needed it by 12/31/04 and they said this wouldn't be a problem. Well on 12/30/04 there was a problem with my new order, they found that the power supply was bad when they tested the system, they stayed until 7:40 pm to make sure they got the problem solved and even shipped my order overnight for free.

Where as most vendors probably would have cancelled the order, they worked with me to remedy the problem and when another problem arose they stayed late to make sure my order got to me on time.

I appreciated their patience with me when asking about the status of my order. I also appreciated their dedication to get my order to me instead of just cancelling it. I would recommend Monarch Computer Systems and would do business with them again.

My experience with Monarch was quite different. I spent about 2.5 k on a computer, and they built it all wrong. I told them quite specifically I needed the computer to be very quiet, and that it was to mate with my home audio equipment (tube gear costing about 4 k). Instead they built a computer that was an obnoxious roaring box. Wrong power supply, wrong case, wrong case fan, wrong cpu, wrong cpu fan, wrong. And when the computer was delivered, and I complained of the noise, the manager at Monarch refused to fix it. The computer was a total turkey, and I got screwed out of 2.5 k with no recourse.

So when you write up about your good experience with Monarch, that is legitimate. As is my review, which you can find here at resellerratings.com under my name rrbasich written on September 2nd 2004.

Good luck to you. We were both honest in our reviews, and that's what matters.

You should post a review here so others can see it as well.

I Already did that!

Hey Evil Rick! I did post my review exactly where you said. Problem is that old reviews are buried deep here, and are very hard to fiind. Almost nobody finds and reads what was said just 2 or 3 months ago.

To get past this problem, I'm digging out the URL of my original review of Monarch Computer Systems. I don't know whether the link below will work in weeks to come; depends on whether ResellerRatings uses fixed rather than dynamic URLs.
Anyway, here is the URL of my original review of Monarch Computer Systems: http://www.resellerratings.com/selle...p25-s1-d1.html

It's the review written by rrbasich on September 2nd 2004 at the very bottom of the page.

Good luck keeping customers and companies honest!
