If you don't want to 'fatten the pockets of the rich', then don't use the software they made. Simple as that. I don't like Linux, so I went out and got LEGAL versions of there software. I have an XP COA on the side of my case to prove its legit. What would you do if a FBI Anti-Piracy agent came to your door and asked for your proof of the legal OS on your machine? I know its way unlikely, but you know what, it may happen, and what would you do? If you like their software enough to use it, PAY FOR IT!
How hard is it to pay for something you use? C'mon, I have a OEM Version of WinXP, and through my work, I have a VLK one too!
All these "legal" non-activation required Windows XP, are not as "legal" as you think! THEY ARE CORPORATE (VLK)! Microsoft Released the VLK version to make it easier for corporations! Its NOT for home users. Corporations are allowed to distrubute it to employees
Hey, I'm also wondering, why pay for illegal content? If you want to get pirated stuff, you CAN get it for free. Here is a hint *GOOGLE*. Spend 10-15mins there and guess what, you got a pirated program, just you saved $50. All I'm saying is that if you WANT to get pirated software, WHY PAY FOR ILLEGAL CONTENT WHEN YOU CAN GET IT FOR FREE. If you are SUCH a cheap-a55 to where you won't buy software that you use every day then don't pay for illegal copies!
