go to www.newegg.com and choose any that are nvidia 5900 series. i got one from them a while ago, few months or so, leadtek GF 5900XT which is awesome, for just over that and it should be cheaper by now.

ATI, i don't know cus for me they have been unstable and crashey, so i won't ever buy an ati again maybe.

They were that, until they came out with the 9700 Pro. They did a serious overhaul on the drivers and fixed the problems they had. Believe me, I was skeptical too. After the fix, I bought a 9700 Pro and it was pretty sweet! The catalyst drivers from 3.2 to 4.9 are great drivers.
I use both ATI and nVidia and both are good. I have one system with a 9600 Pro 128 and my main rig has an nVidia 6800 GT 256.

For $200, I would recommend this (ATI) or this (nVidia).
If it were my $200, I'd go with the first one - ATI 9800 Pro.

My card was the ati radeon 9700 pro and it had major problems with my pc. major, the dang video kept shutting off, the system was still running turned on, but no video and the only fix was a reset button push on the front of the case.. got an nvidia GF FX 5900XT leadtek and all is well. trying to sell my pc too.

buggs1a,
Sorry to hear you had problems with that card. I personally had the All-In-Wonder version of the 9700 Pro (True ATI instead of a company that made their own version) and had no problems with it. It was a tremendous upgrade over my Chaintech TI4600 card. That card was a piece of junk. In fact, the last time I used (personally) a Geforce card before my 6800 GT, was that card. I was so digusted with nVidia that I swore them off until they got their act together.

yeah, i got from zipzoomfly.com an ATI made by ati radeon 9700 pro oem. from day one it had problems. got them to replace it, but when they told me it'd take 2 weeks then another 6, i got a leadtek GF FX 5900XT and never had an issue anymore. they sent me back a powercolor ati radeon 9700 pro and i sold it never using it cus i replaced it.

I hear ya on the OEM deal. I will NEVER buy OEM video cards again. I've got 2 Geforce 2 cards right here - both OEM - I think 64mb ea, and someone can have them if they want it. The lines make it a horrible viewing experience. I figure, if I'm gonna spend money - I will go retail. Besides, OEM you only get a 30 day warranty. I also won't buy powercolor any more either.
