Bestbargainpc.com sent invalid tracking numbers...

Last weekend I placed an order on BestBargainPC.com (found them through pricewatch) Prices seemed pretty decent so I ordered roughly $300 worth of stuff from them. I have since received two shipping status emails from them (one for each product I ordered) So I clicked on their Fedex tracking number links and the tracking numbers seem to be invalid. I got back onto pricewatch and it checked their profile again. It seems as if in the past 3-4 days most of the complaints have arisen about invalid tracking numbers and people not receiving their orders. I've sent an email out to the email listed on their site, not very hopeful of getting a reply after reading their pricewatch feedback. Is there anyway I can contact my credit card company and try to save my money from being stolen?

These people are an alias/storefront for us-depot.com. Read some of the reviews for them under their parent name and you will quickly see what kind of people you are dealing with.

And yes, I unfortunately speak from experience. In fact, one reason I took a chance on the company is that they had no ResellerRating listing. A bit odd, but at least not bad. Wrong.

The fact that they are ducking the ResellerRating reviews with an alias is indicative of their integrity.

I have submitted them to RR as a vendor under this name, so that this wont happen to anyone else.

How long did it take for your credit card company to dispute and cancel the order? They are pulling the exact thing they did to you to me. All that's happened on it is "Fedex received shipping information" The package is also severly underweight. It's a Western Digital Hard Drive and a Pioneer DVD Burner, and I know both of those together cannot possibly weigh 2 pounds. The burner alone weighs over 2 pounds....terrible company.

They took care of it with one phone call. The balance would reflect the credit the next day, the actual credit notice would be on the next statement.
