I dont know much about them but let me tell you do not buy from Broadway Photo.

You should keep away from this suck company by my recent experience with it.

They are making money by trying to charge restoring fee and shipping fee, unless you accept what you are sold.
Broadway photo is the worst dealer I ever met.
Be careful.

You cannot buy their cameras at the posted prices. They will be out of stock unless you buy a grossly overpriced kit to go with it. In the "kit" you'll find you've purchased the battery and charger that was supposed to come with the camera.

What's grossly overpriced? How about a 256 Mb CompactFlash for $90 that you can buy from Newegg for $18.95 -- and I did?

Despite what it says on their website, the Nikon I bought came with no warranty. The "US warranty" they advertise is their store warranty! For all I know, my camera fell off the back of a truck.

They sold me a set of filters with a "lifetime warranty." Except that there was no printed warranty, and no contact information for making a warranty claim.

Just put their advertised price out of your mind and shop elsewhere.

I found this site looking for guidance about a seller called expresscameras.com. It seems they are an absolute ripoff company based on the reviews I read. Imagine my surprise when this web site had bestcameras.com appear as a sponsored web site. Looking at the web sites, it appears that it is the same company as expresscameras.com. There is no listing on this site for bestcameras.com, must be a new name to rip people off.

After reading this post, I checked the web site. I purchased a Cannon S500 from my local PX for the price of $389.00. (retail sale price anywhere you look).

This company has it listed for $339.99.

I checked the Recommended Accessories listed, one a rechargable battery, $89.99!! I bought one at best buy for $19.99.

Media readers, carrying cases, all over priced.

Stay way!!!

I know that you know this by now, but they're another "bait-and-switcher." You won't get what you order and your life will be miserable while you wonder if you're going to be taken. Go with B & H! (I just read your thread last night, a day after my "experience" with bestpricecameras. ("Bestprice" is what's advertised, not what's real.)

I have filed a fraud report with the NYS Attorney General, and I urge anyone who has been gypped by these people to do the same.

Other options are the IFCC (Internet Fraud Complaint Center) https://www.ifccfbi.gov/complaint/cf2.asp, NY State Consumer Protection Board and New York City Department of Consumer Affairs -- all websites that can be found on Google. I also suggest that screwees post their complaint on Epinions.com.

Besides the "bait and switch" business, I specifically cited their use of the word "USA" after a camera that is not distributed by Nikon USA, and is not warranted by Nikon. In addition, I protested their statement that "All products carry a full US Warranty," because they have refused to give me a written warranty. Not even a store warranty. As a result, the "three-year extended warranty" they sold me becomes a 3-year warranty, rather than extending out 4 years.

Their promise to send me a hard case and refund $100 turned out to be so much hot air.

If there is any legal way I can shut them down, or inflict great pain, I plan to devote a great deal of time to doing so.

Thats the worst rating I've seen yet.

You can use resellerratings to check store ratings, and you can do a product search.
This was how I bought my Kodak z700 for $175. Versus $249-$300 everywhere else.

They have a hotmail email address and yahoo web hosting. They obviously either don't make money or haven't been around very long. I'd stay clear of them.
