I've used this vendor many times in the past for cooling gear, with no problems. Last week I ordered a Thermalright SLK-948U and fan for my new Intel system. Everything went fine, as usual with the order. Had it shipped USPS Priority (USPS was the only shipper used I believe). Got my shipping confirmation and checked a couple nights later and noticed they said they delivered it that morning. Confused (because I'd checked the mailbox earlier that day) I went and checked again. No package. I looked around the front of the house to see if the post office had left the package, or a note to pick it up at the local post office or something. Nothing like that. It was Friday night past closing time for the post office, so I decided I'd call them the next day to find out what was going on. I called them the next morning and was told the tracking site was sometimes wrong and it was probably on a truck for delivery. Since the shipment was supposed to be 2 or 3 days and this was the third day, I figured I'd wait to see. Went and got the mail later that day and of course, no package. I called the post office again and was told there was nothing they could do! I was like, WTF? Anyway, I went ahead and sent an email to Sidewinder about the issue and I got a reply saying they'd look into the issue. Later today, I got an email saying they were still investigating, but in the meantime they were reshipping my order
To me, that's super that they're not waiting on a claim to be filed or a resolution to the problem, but are taking care of this themselves. I know I will continue to buy from them for all of my cooling needs!
