JUST WONDERING





I was just wondering if i coud use Windows XP recovery discs, that go to an HP Pavilion, and install windows XP on a different HP pavilion system with the recovery discs, because i have a computer with nothing on the hard drive, because i need my computer to work!!

Usually Recovery CDs come with an OEM license of whatever OS. Legally, you cannot install an OEM OS on any machine except for what it was originally installed on.

If you had two licenses and COAs for XP and had only one CD, then legally you could install it on two machines since you have two licenses and COAs.

Outdoors not fair

I don't think it's fair that everything has to be so expensive, i NEED an OS for my PC, and i have no money, i would trade games, or other stuff for an XP OS!
