Photo Printers

HI Gang

I have an elderly cust, whom is really into digital photo stuff.
They have a great Cannon camera with all kinds of lenses and
filters and stuff.
I can't tell them much about that world due to lack of experience.
They don't appear to have problems with the picture taking part.
The high end HP printer they have prints pretty good photos.
Problem is they want STUDIO results.
They don't want to learn Photo Shop, so I loaded up ACDSEE
for them.
Can anyone give a line on the best photo printers out there,
must be feature rich, prob ink and pigment.
Cost is no object within reason.
Thanks for reading

Check out reviews of the high end Canon printers. I've heard ther are pretty good, and replacement ink is pretty cheap.

go to Eopinions.com
http://www.epinions.com/content_135538445956
my mother has a epson cx6400, that may be a good choice also
the cx6400 uses durabright ink which is supposedly better for the long term... both have the same printer resolutions

i'd buy either if it were up to me....
my father in law and I went to Bestbuy here in town and had a epson and a hp rep showing us everything they could do..... the epson won out in my father in laws eyes
