Ibuypower.com = Glue Factory

They poured GLUE into the components of my machine. This causes it to reboot frequently. I sent it to them, and when it came back it was worse: It still had reboot problem (which was outlined, that it happened when trying to play any game, that should work fine), and now the DVD-rom was unhooked, and the light disconnected. They are the worst of all time, and I can't get my money back. I still have warranty.

I would love to see lemon laws for PCs. I have contacted their local BBB and followed the method to see that they get involved. I am wondering if since its been over a year, if I can get my bank involved. They never delivered a working computer. just a doorstop.

I also rated this reseller (poorly)

Get your bank involved and file a dispute report with your credit union or bank. Each bank differs on policy specifically with days and time you have to file with them.

It was last year in november, however good point.

I also wonder if any other company out their, or any of you computer experts out there, know of any other company that pour glue in the component slots?

Compaq does to secure connections on the edges but it dries like hotglue. Can you send a picture as to what kind of glue you are talking about

I did take pictures before the first shipment to them, and the glue had melted out onto the cards. They claim this glue is 'harmless', however does it explain why the machine reboots anytime any game is started?

The pictures I took did not come out so hot (crummy camera). I was also shaking with anger. I am sure this is "Hotglue" that is intended not to cause too much problem (except with upgrading machine).

The response from them was "Hey, try to upgrade from dell or gateway".

They make me sick.

Yea, they have great customer service. They're charging me for parts I never received.

Contact the bbb in California. That's what I did, and canceled payments through my cc company. If enough complaints come into their local bbb they might change their ways.
