Ebay auctions that are misleading

Is it right for someone to post an auction that is misleading. I was looking on there for A PS2 game and came across this seller who sets his auctions up like you were purchasing the game but in fact you were only buying cheat codes. Which is stupid since you can just look online to find them. No where in the title does it say cheat codes. It says in the decription a couple times. But is worded:
"You are bidding on Fight Night 2004 for the Playstation 2 cheats".
He even goes as far as gives a Description to the game which IMO is useless since its not needed just for codes. I know you are supposed to read every auction clearly. But this to me is unacceptable. This is why Ebay sucks somtimes. People trying to rip others off. And on top of that he charges shipping too. Not very much. When he can just email them to you. I think this is wrong.

that doesn't sound very misleading to me, but without seeing the actual auction its hard to say to me that might just be a kid or someone that isn't really trying to make things misleading. I guarantee I've seen 100x worse auctions than that some of them your not even sure what the heck the item really is or if you do know you'll find some little phrasing that is completely backwards telling you its broke.

IMO ebay has become to popular for its own good. They don't do nearly enough policing of auctions or sellers and it has become way over comercialized

Ok it may be border line but still think its wrong. Is says nothing in the title about cheats. They say "Fight Night 2004 (Playstation 2) Cheap Shipping $1" I guess the cheap shipping is a dead give away.
I guess its like selling something used or as is or not tested knowing that its broken. Still wrong IMO. People are bidding on these auctions like crazy. 1 has got up to
allmost $22.00. Just for codes? I guess a sucker is born every day
I will post a link later.

Send a message via Yahoo to sweeper2
looks legit to me...with e-bay, you must read ALL the terms and agreements + ALL the info or you will miss out, if you just actually looked at this without reading and bidded on it, it would be in fact your fault as it does say in the terms, " you are bidding on the cheats and not the actual game"....they need to change the title, but in all actuallity, the tiltle now gets them more views.

No it should say game not included in the description as well. I bet he would get zero bids it that was included. Oh check his feedback. That all that great.

I still see nothing wrong with any of his auctions. I read through some of the feedback and looked at all the auctions that had complaints and in all of them it says right in the description cheats I do agree it would be better if the title said it was for cheats but I really don't see it as being a scam and I don't see it as being misleading. But thats IMO

I'd say anyone who just goes on there and buys something without reading through the description well really deserves whatever they get. Especially if the price seems too low for something.
