What were the emails of people he gave you? Were they with a isp or were they hotmail, yahoo, aol, and the such?

This is a spam scam as THOUSANDS of people received emails about it back in January and February. The deal is not legit. Don't even think about it.

r u ppl sure about this????
He seems real nice, and he gave me names and e-mails of ppl that bought from him. One man e-mailed me at first he didnt know who I was talking abt, and then he said yea the product is fine, and the only thing was it came a few days late. But that was it!!
He said it's a nice computer and he's e-mailing me from it right now.
Lets review some facts here.

1. Wire transfer with no possible way of getting your money back.

2. Out of the country so no local authorities could even get involved.

3. The names and emails of other people. Give me 5 minutes and I can make up 10 different names of people with legit email addys.

But in the end it all comes down to what you want to do. But like I said earlier, it would just be donating money to this guy. Personaly, I would think you'd get better entertainment by throwing your money in a river and throw rocks at it to see if you can sink em.

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. I've seen referrals like that before.

Well, just wanted to make sure and all. And if you compare the two laptops, the one I linked that UN is selling here and the one from the guy across seas...the other one is way way way better then this one here. Shouldn't that tell you something as well? And the one UN is selling, he is actually selling that bad boy CHEAP!

Just my 2 cents worth though.

Noone sells 2000, 3000, or $4000 lappys for $999....think about it. Use your common sense. Why would someone sell stuff below cost? Who is out to lose money in this world? Noone that I know...

Just be glad you came here first, otherwise you'd be out the grande and laptopless. But like I mentioned earlier, if you're looking to buy an alienwarelaptop for a grand UN Inpector has one for sale in the buy/trade/sell forum. Might be worth a look.
